IGear W-01 Kup and Perceptor upgrade kit review

Before Unite Warriors Bruticus gets his due, I decided to look around my un-opened stash of TF figures and I came across this. I pretty much forgot that I bought this upgrade kit, but I remember hastily putting this in my shopping cart because I was on a TF shopping spree a while back. Without further delay, pics for your viewing pleasure.

 

 

The weapons come in an attache case, a deluxe size one that is. It contains one rifle and two blasters for Perceptor while Kup has two pistols of his own. In the pics, my RTS Perceptor has back issues as his backpack keeps slouching down causing his arms to drop and his right leg droops down as well. Sadly, I got a defective version. There is a regular handle as evidenced by the last pic and there are mini bars on the side for Kup and Perceptor to grip and carry. Because Perceptor's back keeps falling, I had United Tracks in his place instead.

What could had possibly been the all around feature of this set was marred by a defective unit once again. I had trouble standing Perceptor. By giving him his weapons, the weight was too much for him as it caused his backpack to drop constantly. This frustrated me to no end. I had Perceptor lie on the backdrop just to take decent pictures. The last two pics as you can see in this category, the attache case is breaking his fall. The best pic I took out of all this was Perceptor sniping in action.

I didn't do much here as Kup gave me no problems whatsoever. The uzi like weapons he have here fits like a charm and all I have left to say here is pose away!

That is that. I didn't forget about tracks as he could grip perceptor's weapons well. What was very disappointing was my Perceptor figure because of all the drops in his limbs and back. The set was pretty much made for him and yet my figure couldn't hold up to it. If I remembered right, I got this set for $15 roughly from Igear. It is worth the add on for Perceptor definitely because he lacks weapons for his official release. Also, it's good to have spare weapons for Kup as well. Just make sure your Perceptor doesn't have any issues like mines did and you should be have some fun with these add-ons. God bless and take care folks.
