Transformers Toys Autobot Seaspray, Retro G1-Inspired 5" Action Figure Review

Image
Variable Air Spray Today's Bible Quote is inspired by Republic Cinema  . RC also reviews TF and display Bible quotes before each review.  A Wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: --- Proverbs 1:5 I am back with another Transformer review. I walked into a Wal-Mart and saw this version of Seaspray for $15. He retails techincally for $25 but my Wal-Mart here in Honolulu charges and extra arm and a leg for almost everything so don't expect cheap prices when it comes to brand new TF toys. But he was being discounted and I noticed he looks a whole lot different to the actual G1 toy, so I decided to give it a go. So how does he fare? Let's get started! Card    So SSpray comes in the very simple reminiscent G1 trading card wrapped in a simple plastic box that comes with his guns and instruction booklet. You can get even see his warrior stats in the back of the box. Good old times. Don't mind my card for it ...

Transformers Toys Studio Series Deluxe The The Movie 86-29 Bumblebee Review

Image
Aloha, folks I am back with a Studio Series review and it is none other than Studio Series 86 Bumblebee. How does he fare? Let's get started. Boxing  I kinda missed having backdrops which the newer releases tend to eschew. His backdrop portrays the insides of Unicron.  Bumblebee One of the survivors of the original 1984-85 line that made it into the 3rd season and eventually being modified to Goldbug. Here is another iteration of Bumblebee. I say this because it wasn't too long before his Netflix version was released. However, that version had a more mustard orange look to him. This BB looks more yellow to his toon model. To make matters a little better, he is not a partsformer like the NF version was; his back was detachable but this one its a plain square like model. It looks a little too plain looking unfortunately. Speaking of squares, this BB feels squarish. He is a little too squarish for my taste. Especially that chest of his. Its stretched out a lit...

Transformers Toys Studio Series Core Class The The Movie Exo-Suit Spike Witwicky review

Image
Bill Gates is your expert? Aloha folks, I am back with another 86 review. This time it is the first of it's line, core class Exo-suit Spike Witwicky. Without further delay, let's get started! Boxing The figure comes in a small package. No clear plastic once again though it comes with a properly sized backdrop depicting somewhere inside of Unicron. I would had probably preferred that they supplemented a moonbase 2 type of backdrop.  Spiked! Here's Spike in the flesh. The one first thing that I noticed was that he has no eyes. This can be kind of jarring to look at making his feel and looking like a blind character. He comes with booster effect accessories that is actually placed on the anterior band of his elbows. But in case if you are wondering, the effects can be used on other TF weapons that support the placement. In order to swivel his head, you must use the white tab located on his back. Not sure why this swivel was done in this fashion but that is how you do it for ...
