Happy Transformers the movie release day

Happy TF day. Today marks the 34th anniversary of Transformers the movie (8/8/1986). Here are toy pics from the toys I reviewed in 2020 to commemorate the release.

Transformers Mechanic Studios MS-16 Rocke (Not-Gears) quick review

Season 1 Ark Autobots complete! At long last, the missing puzzle is found and that is Rocke- Not Gears. Without further delay, let's get started!

The box art also features not- Swerve or Spiale. The box art makes it look as if he comes with Rocke but he doesn't. To make sure you get the right figure, you look at the bottom of the box and if the white box is check next to the corresponding color, then you got that figure. In this case, blue = Rocke and red = Spiale. Rocke also comes with a blue bomber. Not Megaman but I decide to call him that for this review.

In the robot flesh. Rocke looks like his G1 incarnation. The colors and looks are really impressive. However, he feels blocky for the most part and despite having a head swivel, his shoulder arms get in the way from time to time. His hands are connected to his forearm despite having elbows to give him some posability. He ends up getting dual pistols, one from what I heard is supposed to be Spiales, but you get both. The weapons on my figure though does not peg in completely. Bummer.

Lobbying a Grenade

Well, I tried.

Anyhow, Chromia is a remold of Novastar, Lancer, Greenlight, and Moonracer. Of course she sports a different head and windshield; its long in fact. Like the others previously mentioned, she has the heavy kibble in her back that causes some problems for posing. If you like the mold, then Chromia plays nicely. I don't know if it was my figure or not, but she can't seem to hold her weapon well on her right hand. The left holds it just nicely. You can use her grenades to extend her weapon or put it all over the other pegs/holes of her. Use your imagination once again.

Alt mode

Chromia in vehicle mode. Like I said, you can extend her weapon to anyway you please. Very easy to transform especially if you are used to the Moonracer mold. Not to mention, it's like you've been playing this figure for the 5th time. Lancer would be the 6 when I finally complete Elita Infinite.
