Transformers War for Cybertron Siege WFC-S20 Chromia quick review

Hola! Once again Happy New Year folks and we kick it off with Chromia! Without further delay, let's get started!

Lobbying a Grenade

Well, I tried.

Anyhow, Chromia is a remold of Novastar, Lancer, Greenlight, and Moonracer. Of course she sports a different head and windshield; its long in fact. Like the others previously mentioned, she has the heavy kibble in her back that causes some problems for posing. If you like the mold, then Chromia plays nicely. I don't know if it was my figure or not, but she can't seem to hold her weapon well on her right hand. The left holds it just nicely. You can use her grenades to extend her weapon or put it all over the other pegs/holes of her. Use your imagination once again.

Alt mode

Chromia in vehicle mode. Like I said, you can extend her weapon to anyway you please. Very easy to transform especially if you are used to the Moonracer mold. Not to mention, it's like you've been playing this figure for the 5th time. Lancer would be the 6 when I finally complete Elita Infinite.

Guest starring: Greenlight

You can almost see the similarities and differences. Chromia is a slight retool as her wings are shorter and front is more defined in comparison. She has slight battle damage in the edge of her front hood which is obscured in robot mode. You can also see that her peg for combiner mode has been removed. Not sure why Hastak did this since the early prototype form had her as a combiner. Maybe they anticipated Greenlight and Lancer near the future? I dunno.

With Ironhide

Supposedly they were lovers in the original G1 toon. Not much really happened after "The Search for Alpha Trion" because Iron-hide bit the dust in Transformers the Movie. So any reunification pretty much went out the door.

Conclusion:

Decent figure to the Siege line. Not the best and sadly Hastak never fixed that kibble. To make matters worse, she could not assist in forming Elita Infinite. She looks decent overall though I would had preferred the more feminine look the Legends version had. I didn't pick that up and this version of Chromia is reportedly more G1-ish, so I got it. If you need more females, then pick Chromia up.  She's still a great figure to mess around with.
