First post of 2021! Transformers Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Voyager Class Megatron Battle 3-Pack with Pinpointer and Lionizer review!

First off, Happy New Year folks and let God take control. Before we jump into the pics and short reviews, I would like to thank Jesus once again for a safe year. Also, I would like to thank my new TF buddy, Brandon (Aka Transfan84/Darkonen) also from Hawaii. He made this possible since he gave me Megatron for this review. Without delay, let's get started!

Standing tall (with Pinpointer and Lionzer)

Netflix Megatron comes with Pinpointer and Lionizer both Target Master/Action Masters. The former being the gun while the latter in the Orange blade. Very easy to transform into though I originally transformed Pinpointer wrong in the first few pics or so. Ironically, Pinpointer's origin is that of an Autobot. Not sure why he is paired with Megatron here but its a package deal, right? Stop complaining.

I love Megatron's metallic silver/grey on his chest. Very Shiny and it meshes well with him. Megs comes with his legendary fusion canon and a "Laserstriker Launcher" as TFwiki says. The Launcher conceals another mini canon but also forms a sword as well.

This is probably the most G1 accurate looking Megatron I've owned so far. The United one was the only Megatron I held on after all these years. Megs comes with loads of battle damage though it really looks great on him. Megs has swivels and does a array of neat looking poses. Megs also has ankle tilts for those who are wondering.

Additionally, I was not given his box packaging so I have no box photo to shoot. No biggie. I also heard that his figure didn't come with instructions.

Mode 1

Mode 2

Took me a while to get to his tank mode. You are probably wondering why there are two modes I listed here? Not much difference. The first mode I folded the flap inwards on the silver/grey part in while the 2nd mode I left it out. I'm thinking the latter is the official way of transforming him but both methods work. I just got the first mode from some folks online. The first mode, or at least for mines, makes his two front wheels a little crooked though. Anyhow, have fun. Lastly, I love how he can swivel his turret in this mode (he is a tank, get it?).

Netflix Pinpointer vs Legends Pinpointer/Pointech

It so happened that I do have Legends Pinpointer/Pointech (the mainly red dude) from LG Windblade. Because Crosshairs never had an official generations figure, LG Pinpointer was given to Windblade. But since Crosshairs made it into the Siege line, why didn't they make Pinpointer then? Instead, they finally did make him and released him with Megatron? Anyhow, both have different looking modes despite sharing the same name. Legends PP is the cartoon accurate colored version of the Takara Headmaster series while the NF release is more closer to his toy colors. Take your pick.

Fan mode

Well, I tried to re-create him into a gun. I heard some folks online were able to do it though it involves deconstructing him. Sometimes when I look at this and he looks like something of a turret, canon, and ED-209 crossbreed.
Conclusion:

Megatron Netflix is absolutely a buy. I really love his colors despite his G1 cartoon colors being more light silver/grey. I really dig the darker metallic paint. The Decepticon leader looks and plays great overall.

Countdown to girls day 2 of 5: Takara Tomy Transformers Legends Windblade LG62 Targetmaster review

Hello and welcome, today we have the famous Windblade on the countdown to girls day part II. Without haste, let's get started.

Box and Content

First off, Windblade is G1 through comic continuity and of the latest Generations timeline. I was mainly exposed to her due to her appearance in the Combiner Wars/Titans Return/Power of the Primes cartoon shorts. The Japanese version however retcons all this and makes her G1 overall due to her combining with Nijika from season 3. The comic explains also how she became a targetmaster. Here is the link:

Flash photography was used for some of these pics and they came out fairly well. I forgot to flip the turbines for this mode but I did shoot one pic of the turbines facing the way they are supposed to. Later on for this part. Also, transformation back and forth was very easy; Windblade is probably the easiest figure in this line to transform to robot mode and back. The shiny white nosecone is a nice touch as well.

Landing gear
Easy to play and transform but his head swivels in coordination with his waist. Basically, his waist swivel controls his head movement. Very awkward.
