G1 1984 Jazz toy review! All that Jazz! Jazz comparisons with United, Reveal the Shield, and 86 Studio Series.

Thank you to Heath, my brother from another mother in Washington state. This is an exclusive quick look and review on the original Jazz mold.  1984 Jazz G1 style! Robot and alt mode G1 Jazz, die-cast and all. This is a 2nd hand figure plus he was very loose, stickers peeling and all, but I'm not really complaining and this guy is the original Jazz of all Jazzes. You can start to see some yellowing behind his legs otherwise the paint everywhere else is still a decent finish. His alt mode looks fantastic and easy to transform. It took the 86 studio series line to match that and it pales simply because that line is missing decals and some paint. This is 84 where you had heavy plastic (metal), decals, and metallic finish guns and missiles. Speaking of missiles, the launcher came broken so I couldn't attach it on his shoulder. On the last pic in this category, I just had it sitting on his right shoulder. The spring works well though... a little too well.  Because this is 84 J...

Bandai Action Base black stand: Featuring some Transformers.

Aloha folks. It's been awhile since I did something with my figures. I've still got a whole lot of TF toys to open and review, but work and another part of life makes it difficult for me to do so. Tonight, insomnia got the best of me so I decided to play with a base stand I bought a while back. Today I do a brief review on the Bandai Hobby Action Base 1 display stand . With it, you can deliver the impression that your Gundam figures are flying and duking it out with other rivals while suspended in mid-air, perhaps re-creating a memorable dramatic scene you saw in the anime. But since I don't own Gundam figures, I will test out this stand with none other than my TF figures. So what you see is what you get. https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Hobby-Action-Display-Stand/dp/B000KG499M The above link is the how the packing looks like. I did a take pic but it didn't come out well with all the glare in place. I just decided to include a link and if you are impressed then you...

Toy Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Beachcomber.

Image
Welcome to the very first March 2018 Transformer review! Today is none other than Beachcomber. Well, let's get started! Boxing     Standard scout class and box-art for a Hasbro release. I didn't take his trading card out of the package but you can still see through it. Megatronus is supposed to be BeachComber's partner in alt mode but I don't have him. And quite frankly, I probably won't be getting him. Robot mode         Wow. I'm amazed. Looks great, feels great, and plays great. Everything is great so far. Looks like a good representation of G1 Beachcomber so far. Joints are tight and BC can pose very decently.
