Thank God for a good day in Toronto, Canada 7/16 (Day 5 Finale) Chinatown redux, Koreatown, Royal Ontario Museum, CN tower, Rogers Centre, Union Station and more!

Day 5 is here. Forecast was rain! Oh boy. Let's get started!

Return to Chinatown!

I didn't mention this but Chinatown for the most part is restaurants and stores lined up on both side of the street. Everywhere you go, just lots of food places. I had a craving for dumplings so I ate here. 15 pieces for $10 Canadian. Not bad.

Koreatown

Koreatown is similar to Chinatown with lined up stores and restaurants on both sides of the street. I had a craving for noodles and Gal-bi (Kalbi). Not bad. Was worth my $27 Canadian.

Thank God for a good day in Toronto, Canada 7/15 (Day 4) Niagara Falls

Day 3 is here! Without haste, lets get started!

I tried to go to Tim Horton, Canada's version of Starbucks, but it wasn't open even when it was around 6AM. I settled for Mcdonalds around the area. Got to my Greyhound in the city to finally start a day in Niagara.

Niagara falls

*Warning: If you take the Greyhound, you will be dropped off in a 20-30 minute walk distance from the Falls. Didn't know about this so make sure you plan your time right if using Greyhound because you will also need to spend the time in coming back to the meeting area if you are doing a roundtrip. *

The ticket for the ride is roughly $25 U.S. You get a poncho so make good use of it otherwise it's a free bath. I heard the falls are spectacular at night.

Thank God for a good day in Toronto, Canada 7/14 (Day 3) TFCON Toronto 2018!

Aloha, day 2 is here! Today is TFCON day in Mississauga, Canada!

Breakfast here.

For starters, the Presto card allows you to ride the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus/Subway and Gobus. You load funds into the card. From what I heard if you use Presto, you get a minor discount off the Gobus. Just remember that when it comes to Gobus, you need to tap on and tap off when you get on and off the bus. The Gobus was needed here to travel a long distance from the city- about 40 minutes to be exact. The convention was hosted in the Hilton Mississauga.

TFCON 2018!

I bought an early registration pass so I was able to go in @9AM rather than 11AM. The funny thing was that when they asked my I.D. to confirm registration, they were shocked that I was from Hawaii! They wondered why I traveled so far but I was welcomed nonetheless. I was able to acquire some figures that I wanted. Every few hours there were Q and A with some of the invited Voice actor guests.
