Transformers the Movie Studio Series 86 Windcharger review

Image
Aloha Folks, I am back with another TF review, this is the first for the new year. And it is none other than Studio series 86/Studio Series Windcharger. How does he fare, well, lets get started! Boxing   Your new boxing and standard content. No scenic backdrop anymore. I love how the back of the box states that WC uses his magnetic powers to fight off the Decepticons. Only if we got to see this old timer go out fighting in the movie. Forgive me as well, I think most of the pics turned out ok. I did buy a new Canon lens to shoot Bokeh style. I think some pics turned out a little soft but otherwise did the job. I finally got a tripod as well after all these years and still adjusting to it. It works really well with the Bokeh lens. Windcharger   Windcharger out of the box. I really liked the Power of the Primes version years ago, but I think this version now takes the cake. He does look more blue and I think the POTP version was a little too grey. He has al...

Matrix Workshop M-59 Backpack sword Weapon Tail Upgrade Kit For SS86 Slag Review

Image
Aloha folks, I am back with another TF upgrade review: Matrix Workshop M-59 Backpack sword Weapon Tail Upgrade Kit For SS86 Slag. Once again found on Ebay as my vision to upgrade all the Dinobots to make sure they all have at least a gun and a sword. Without further delay, let's get started! Content wise: The package consists of a sword, another gun/rocket launcher type weapon, a tail filler, and a mini backpack to store your weapons.  In Dino mode, the sword is pretty much weight and adds no real value in this mode besides placement for storage. The tail filler shines the best in this category because now you can use the mini back pack to house weapons on his back. It's nicely done. If it's your forte, you can use the tail as a weapon as well. And then the hilarious thing is you can plug his other weapons into his tail area. Including the sword though there is no peg for it so it fits very loosely.   Now this is where the weapons make a difference. Starti...

Transformers Studio Series 86 25 Blaster and Eject Review Comparisons with Kingdom Blaster

Image
Blasters version of the Bloodsport pose  Hello ladies and gents, I am back with another review. Today, I review Studio Series 86 Blaster and Eject. I'm not going into too much details since I had done an earlier review on Kingdom Blaster, so its more of an comparison. Anyhow, let's get started.  Boxing SS Blaster comes with the backdrop where Magnus and some of the new Autobots gather and strike up a plan. Imo, they should had gotten Blaster the backdrop where he is in the radio dome where he radios Prime for help and defend off against Soundwave's micro minions. I think Hasbro was too lazy to make a new backdrop for him. I mean, technically Blaster was not in this scene. This was possibly the biggest bummer that came with the figure. Not a big complaint but I think Hasbro could had done better here.  86 SS Blaster vs Kingdom Blaster   For those who did read my Kingdom Blaster review. I liked him. When SS86 came out, I was peeved and refused ...
