He looks decent, does he not? Sadly, the complaints start to appear here. He doesn't have the best hips in the world, nor is it that good looking. Because he has a bulky top thanks to Motormaster, Menasor falls a lot. This guy has trouble standing. Many fans have complained about how awkward he looks thanks to the hips once again, but there is a quick remedy for this though it still doesn't prevent him much from falling. He does look a little better but that still isn't saying much. You can toggle with his legs the way you want, here is how I prefer it if I wanted to. Not to mention it makes him a little taller.
Modifying the legs.
Menasor has special powers!
Fully loaded.
Well, not really, but that is what he claim he had in the episode "Masquerade." Lasers just shoot from his wrists and that is it. What makes these pics a little special is that he has enough holes (don't think that way, please) to fit all his weapons on his gestalt mode. Just look at the first pic in this category. You can combine his sword and gun which I didn't know much until later.
Mix and match!
Yep, I'm falling alright.
What's up with that Amazon box in the back?
The results are endless. I mentioned in my Superion post that you can mix the limbs and it is no different here because you can mix Autobots with Decepticons! and Vice versa! So have fun here, that is all I have to say for this category.
Final results:
Overall, If I had to give a score, he is a 7 out of 10. He looks good for this generation but he is lacking his shoulder blades and a straighter horn he had in the cartoons. However, thanks to third party this problem is rectified. Not to mention he has a longer sword too in those releases. His individual modes are awesome, but you can't say the same for his gestalt mode because of weak hips or bulky torso. Take your pick, this guy can't stand much. I brought back out Superion and I was amazed how this guy stood up most of the time when Menasor kept falling. I guess the third party feet and legs may make a huge difference when it comes to correcting this. Yeah, I've been complaining about him un-able to stand throughout this review. It's pretty much the only reason why his replay-ability factor is diminished.
God speed folks and get Menasor if you feel the need to complete your G1 collection or you want to get him in one box set rather than buy 5 individual pieces. Laters.
