Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy Legends LG44 Sharkticon and Sweep

Image
Sharkticons, execute them! Aloha and welcome to another Takara Tomy Legends review. I actually forgot to review this guy when I picked him up with Legends Kup and Hot Rod. How does he fare? Well, let's get started! Boxing and contents           How's about Sharkticons x 3! Box art looks nice. Typical but awesome artwork by Takara Tomy. I'm shocked that he isn't that fast according to his stats but I guess his courage makes up for it. Comes with a comic and I had no clue what was it about besides seeing Hot Rod fish up a Sharkticon which starts our Sharkticon story. Anyhow, here is the link: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Legends_Comic:_Bonus_Edition_Vol._44

Toy Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Beachcomber.

Image
Welcome to the very first March 2018 Transformer review! Today is none other than Beachcomber. Well, let's get started! Boxing     Standard scout class and box-art for a Hasbro release. I didn't take his trading card out of the package but you can still see through it. Megatronus is supposed to be BeachComber's partner in alt mode but I don't have him. And quite frankly, I probably won't be getting him. Robot mode         Wow. I'm amazed. Looks great, feels great, and plays great. Everything is great so far. Looks like a good representation of G1 Beachcomber so far. Joints are tight and BC can pose very decently.

Toy Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Windcharger!

Hello! Today, other than the usual Legends review, we are taking a break from that line to review the current Power of the Primes toyline. For those who are fresh to the POTP line, Hasbro and Takara are now merging their toylines into one aka unification. So if you get the Takara version now, it is going to be the same exact figure as Hasbro. So to ease my wallet, I went to my nearest Target and snatched up POTP Windcharger. How he is? Well, let's get started! Boxing and contents     POTP Windcharger comes in a scout size so don't expect too much replayability like his deluxe or Voyager brethrens. Boxing is nice and contents just include his instruction manual (once again I refuse to look at it) and a bio card.

Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy Legends LG55 Slugslinger and Caliburst Targetmaster.

Hiya folks, I'm back with another Legends edition of Takara Tomy Transformers LG55 Slugslinger and Caliburst; 2nd of the 5 transformers my sister bought for me from Tokyo. Without haste, let's get started! Boxing and packaging       Destron and Decepticon merged into one? Awesome Boxart and packing from Takara like usual. You have an mis-spelling error on his manual, his faction name is spelled "Desepticon." The comic included actually involves Spike being the bad guy; not sure why but he is. Slugslinger incapacitates some autobots including his buddies Misfire and Trigger happy. It is up to 3 of the girls to save them all. In doing so they are nearly rendered naked again (yup, a recurring theme in the legends comics). They save the day and here is the link for the synopsis: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Legends_Comic:_Bonus_Edition_Vol._55

Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy Legends LG40 Astrotrain triple changer!

Image
Hello, hello, and hello! I've been busy with work and resting as much as I can, but I also wanted to take this opportunity to open up some of the figures my sister bought for me. In today is Legends Astrotrain, the triple-changer! Without delay, let's get started! Boxing and contents         Legends Astrotrain LG40 comic sypnosis Well, nice lookin artwork plus a funny comic till you reach the end part. I was chuckling for a bit to find poor Astrotrain maintaining a failing cargo transport company until he had a sinister plan towards the end. Anyhow, click on the link above to read the translation. Warning: I made another blunder. I forgot that Astrotrain's robot mode had shoulder tabs so most of the shoot wa...
