Hello! Today, other than the usual Legends review, we are taking a break from that line to review the current
Power of the Primes toyline. For those who are fresh to the POTP line, Hasbro and Takara are now merging their toylines into one aka unification. So if you get the Takara version now, it is going to be the same exact figure as Hasbro. So to ease my wallet, I went to my nearest Target and snatched up POTP Windcharger. How he is? Well, let's get started!
Boxing and contents
POTP Windcharger comes in a scout size so don't expect too much replayability like his deluxe or Voyager brethrens. Boxing is nice and contents just include his instruction manual (once again I refuse to look at it) and a bio card.

POTP Windcharger got the looks... the G1 cartoon looks! His color scheme is almost spot on. And this is coming from Hasbro! Egad! I thought that was Takara's job. Anyhow, he is diminutive in TF continuity so his size is perfect despite the fact RTS WC is still taller than him. It's kinda tough here because replayability imo goes to RTS but G1 looks goes to POTP. Hard for me to pick one for this character because RTS grew on me a while back, and pulling him back out, he still looks awesome! POTP WC does not come with any weapons so I just pulled a few from his other autobot brothers, and surprisingly the 3 I pulled, he was able to grasp them fine. But due to his tiny nature, it kinda dragged him down, but no biggie. WC looks great here. His joints are tight and I love the silver paint they used for his thighs. Useless information here: His head swivels.

Easy to transform for both figures. No pegs to place weapons so that is a bummer. I'm pretty sure if Takara released their own version, the rims be painted silver. RTS is much longer which makes sense since he is already taller in robot form. They play like hot wheels here. Easy come, easy go.
Conclusion:
For $10, he is a must have if you need a Windcharger or if you are a G1 anime completionist. You won't be disappointed here. I just wonder what Takara would had done different had it not been for the Unification. Easy figure to play with hopefully easy to obtain for those seeking him. Later, Ciao!
