No more running or hiding.

So I came as myself rather than a gimmick. There is a man that slandered me for years who used to be my high school/middle school friend but he showed his true colors to everyone close to him and of this world. He continued to call me names and called good evil. He claims to know me with those blog posts he writes about me, but he is not close, nowhere near close! But as God has commanded it, I forgive him. He does not know God so he does not have any real love in his heart. But if I join in with his pointless and vile bickering, I am no better than him.  God is in control. Once again, this man does not know me at all! If you come across his blogs, I would tell you to not believe it like a normal human being would, but I can't force any of you who know me or those who come across this blog to listen to this or that. It's all you.

Thanks to our hike, we slept good. Me and my brother awoke around 8ish in the morning. Forecast says raining, God says "beautiful sunny day in Kauai-nei!"

My sis-in-law did not wake up nearly till after 9. I went swimming in the hotel's pool for about half an hour to kill time. We were killing time because it was our last day in the Garden Isle and our flight wasn't till 10 at night. We did not check out of the hotel until noon. After check-out we decided to head to Hanalei. We drove to the end where we saw farms and lots of beautiful beaches. We didn't stop to admire any sights but we drove till the end nonetheless. We had lunch at Tahiti-Nui for our fuel stop. Good food. Recommended if you are in Hanalei.

We woke up around 9ish and decided to go to Ono Family restaurant in Kapaa for breakfast. Very ono indeed. We decided to head towards Hanalei side to sight see some more. We stopped by the Kilauea lighthouse first. Unfortunately, it was closed. It won't re-open until somewhere end of April. So we could only take pics from a far.

Finally got a couple days off so I decided to spend sometime off with my brother and his wife in the Garden Isle! I had an early morning flight at 6:00AM and still had to work an evening shift that ended at 11:30PM. By the time I went home I was only able to take a quick nap. After getting past TSA in Honolulu international airport, I had a big breakfast at Burger King.

Very filling. Landed in Kauai within 20 minutes or so. Our stay was in Castle Mokihana in Kapaa. However, we un-successfully tried to get an early check-in. So we decided to drive down a few blocks and ate at Kountry Kitchen.

 

 

 

I was full from the earlier breakfast for the most part though I didn't mind the extra calorie intake. Ninja diet indeed!

Started off the day taking a pic of Waikiki beach from my hotel. Then 2nd pic is my hotel from the beach. I went swimming with my friend for an hour before his sister and niece arrived to have brunch with us.

So what is this? The trip started out with Pizza! Roundtable Pizza at the Hilton Hawaiian Village that is. Me and my best bud decided to bus it to Waikiki and stopped by for this delicious grub. A little pricey but recommended if you are around here.

We left around noon time because I was working the night before and I had to pick my sister up 3AM that morning. Ugh... So I was really tired for the most part. Hotel check-ins are usually 3PM. So we decided to hot foot to our hotel and ask the receptionist if we could check in early. We arrived about 2PM to the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel.

Just another day.

Hiking with God in Oahu, Hawaii 2/25/16

Return to Koko Head stairs of doom! My sister joined me this time. While it took her an hour to get to the top, she didn't give up. I did mines in thirty minutes, thank the good Lord. Next time I shall do better than that!

Protectobots merge into Defensor!

At long last, Takara Tomy released their own version of Defensor aka Guardian featuring Groove, who had been omitted from the U.S. Combiner wars release. I ordered this on TFSource.com and it was shipped on the 16th of Dec, 2015, though it stayed a week in California before getting shipped to me on the 29th. I was a little surprised to get the box casing which housed the Defensor figure and display box. All for $159 shipped (free shipping at TFSource for orders over $150). The contents came neatly packaged though it was tightly fitted that it took me a while to get the box out. The figure also came with the Defensor collector coin. Anyways, let's get to the:

 So you get all G1-colored Protectobots, collectors coin, instruction manual with an artwork of the Protectobots playing baseball with Nul-A watching on the sidelines; Nul-A appeared only in one episode in the original G1 TF episode: The Ultimate Weapon.

Gamestop white Gamecube controller review

Well, I didn't want to do this review but after playing my favorite game: Megaman X collection on my Wii, I felt like i had to. First off, I'm not sure if Gamestop still sells this controller anymore because it is roughly about two years old. I bought it for $14.99 and did not open the product until somewhere a few months ago. I decided to revisit Mario 64 I downloaded from the Wii shop. The result was a disaster because my character couldn't stop moving left. As soon as you touch the joystick, your character automatically moves left. You have to pull the joystick up a little just to get your character to stop moving. As soon as you slightly touch the stick, your character moves left again. I had to buy the Mario controller I reviewed then. The official Nintendo products work like a charm!

Now, I decided to play the Megaman x collection for the Gamecube on the Wii. Here is where the headaches spawn. Don't touch the joystick again other wise you will move left automatically. Our last hope would be the d-pad... whew! sigh of relief! Not! The D-pad is stiff as heck. The up and down buttons on the direction pad seems to be closely tied to the left and right buttons on the direction pad. Every time I press down, 50% of the time, X or Zero (the heroes of the series) will move left or right (ducking feature is only in X5 and X6). The same ratio applies when I am pressing up. As you can tell, I've walked into enemy fire numerous times, or even worse, fell into the spikes. The buttons work occasionally though sometimes they can become unresponsive. Sometimes I press the dash button when I am in the air as a tactic against some bosses (Rangda Bangda in X5). Result, I fell into spikes or onto an enemy because the command somehow didn't register. The Z button which is often used as the Giga attack or Nova Strike is stiff as well. You have to press it so hard to make it work and it makes a very loud sound as you press it. The same thing goes for turbo button though I have yet to make good use of it. Just a loud annoying sound as you press the button.

So this is the last time I am buying a gamestop controller. I bought one in the past and that one worked much better than this one, though it had an awkward problem of registering the L button as the start button in some games. Not to mention, the x button gave out fairly quickly; my bird chewed up the cord on that one if you are wondering what happened to that controller. So folks, pay the extra $10 to get a non-headache inducing Nintendo brand Gamecube controller. Avoid third parties at all costs though my Rock candy controller for the xbox/pc is awesome!

Verdict: Not worth it
