Thank God for a good day in Waikiki 3/16/16

So what is this? The trip started out with Pizza! Roundtable Pizza at the Hilton Hawaiian Village that is. Me and my best bud decided to bus it to Waikiki and stopped by for this delicious grub. A little pricey but recommended if you are around here.

We left around noon time because I was working the night before and I had to pick my sister up 3AM that morning. Ugh... So I was really tired for the most part. Hotel check-ins are usually 3PM. So we decided to hot foot to our hotel and ask the receptionist if we could check in early. We arrived about 2PM to the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel.

Hallelujah! God granted our wish and we got a room prior to the 3PM check in. The room wasn't that big though it was adequate enough for our sleeping needs. The hotel offered dvd's for rental as part of the amenities agreement. The PS3 console, which is part of the hotel, served our dvd watching needs. My friend rented the movie In-and-Out. He grew bored of it quick as I took a nap because I was still tired from work the other night. As I came out of my quick coma, I had to snap these photos...

Beach view. What more could you ask for? Me and my friend went to the nearest ABC store and picked up some snacks and Smirnoff coolers as evidenced by the pic of me with my back turned to the camera.

Next up: Dinner time already. We walked to the Sheraton for Kai Market Buffet.  We walked around and took pics of their Infinity Pool. Love the decor and view of Diamond Head.

We had reservations at 7:30 PM, but we came early than that and the servers ended up seating us right away.

The food was ono! It was $55 that night, but locals get a discount. Check it out if you are ever at the Sheraton.

Rest of the night:

So I took some pics around the Sheraton and tried a cheesecake sample at the Royal Hawaiian. My sister wanted one and I just wanted to know where the place was to grab this delight. We walked around Waikiki and saw a couple of street performances. After that, we bought more snacks from the ABC store and saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Nighty night.
