Toy Review: Transformers Power of the Primes Windcharger!

Image
Hello! Today, other than the usual Legends review, we are taking a break from that line to review the current Power of the Primes toyline. For those who are fresh to the POTP line, Hasbro and Takara are now merging their toylines into one aka unification. So if you get the Takara version now, it is going to be the same exact figure as Hasbro. So to ease my wallet, I went to my nearest Target and snatched up POTP Windcharger. How he is? Well, let's get started! Boxing and contents     POTP Windcharger comes in a scout size so don't expect too much replayability like his deluxe or Voyager brethrens. Boxing is nice and contents just include his instruction manual (once again I refuse to look at it) and a bio card.

Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy Legends LG55 Slugslinger and Caliburst Targetmaster.

Image
Hiya folks, I'm back with another Legends edition of Takara Tomy Transformers LG55 Slugslinger and Caliburst; 2nd of the 5 transformers my sister bought for me from Tokyo. Without haste, let's get started! Boxing and packaging       Destron and Decepticon merged into one? Awesome Boxart and packing from Takara like usual. You have an mis-spelling error on his manual, his faction name is spelled "Desepticon." The comic included actually involves Spike being the bad guy; not sure why but he is. Slugslinger incapacitates some autobots including his buddies Misfire and Trigger happy. It is up to 3 of the girls to save them all. In doing so they are nearly rendered naked again (yup, a recurring theme in the legends comics). They save the day and here is the link for the synopsis: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Legends_Comic:_Bonus_Edition_Vol._55

Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy Legends LG40 Astrotrain triple changer!

Image
Hello, hello, and hello! I've been busy with work and resting as much as I can, but I also wanted to take this opportunity to open up some of the figures my sister bought for me. In today is Legends Astrotrain, the triple-changer! Without delay, let's get started! Boxing and contents         Legends Astrotrain LG40 comic sypnosis Well, nice lookin artwork plus a funny comic till you reach the end part. I was chuckling for a bit to find poor Astrotrain maintaining a failing cargo transport company until he had a sinister plan towards the end. Anyhow, click on the link above to read the translation. Warning: I made another blunder. I forgot that Astrotrain's robot mode had shoulder tabs so most of the shoot wa...

Clockwise from top: ( Perceptor, Autobot Clones: Fastlane and Cloudraker, Blitzwing, Astrotrain, and Slugslinger) I hope to open them up soon and review them. One day healing at a time. Jesus is awesome, see you later and TY folks.

Toy Review! Transformers Classics: Universe Smokescreen

Image
At long last, I finally decide to let Smokescreen out of his cage...after 8 years to be exact! Without further delay, let's get started! Boxing Taken at 2010. Lol! Creased at upper right.   Well, I was cleaning my room and found that the box was creased. I decided why not let him out already? Comes with an instruction manual. Was pretty cool for its time. Alt mode guest starring Universe Prowl and Henkei Streak (Silverstreak or Bluestreak)       How I went about on getting Universe Smokescreen was that I prefered his dark blue colors over the light blue the Henkei version had. Plus Universe Smokescreen was only $10 at the time. However, the Henkei version is more consistent on his paint scheme and more G1 anime accurate. The Universe one is just colors everywhere it feels. It's the same mold as Universe Prowl and Henkei Streak so hope you enjoy the comparisons. For an odd reason, I had trouble pu...

Toy Review: Transformers Takara Tomy LaserBeak (Condor) and Apeface LG38.

Image
Happy New Year folks. Got out of my sick bed to review a figure. Today's focus is on one of Soundwave's minion: Laserbeak aka Condor in Japan and his partner in crime: Apeface. Without haste, let's get started! Boxing and contents         Standard legends boxing. Comes with the comic book version from which I have no idea what's it about until I read this site:  http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Legends_Comic:_Bonus_Edition_Vol._38 Robot Mode     With Legs With legs 2 Red wings 1 Red wings 2 Better view of his face Laserbeak is a beauty. Though I wouldn't find him a masterpiece of his G1 incarnation. He looks great here. I had trouble getting a decent shot of his face until I was able to do so on the last pic for this category. For once I used mainly flash and the flash obscured his legs due to the black flooring I used. He also had some red wings which I didn't shoo...
