Transformers Generations: War for Cybertron Siege Voyager WFC-S38 Springer Review.

"I've got better things to do tonight than die!" Springer, Transformers movie.

Today we go back two lines and review Siege Springer. Without haste let's get started!

Beginnings

Found this guy in my trip to Bend, Oregon back in Aug 2019. I finally decided to let him out. Yes, it was in Target as you can see.

Boxing

That is Siege for you. I never got into the insignia marking so I have no idea what it represents. And I will tell you now that instructions were used for his helicopter and car mode.

Transformer Generations: War for Cybertron: Kingdom Huffer WFC-K16 Deluxe Class review!

If the unvaccinated can get the vaccinated sick, that means the vax doesn't work!

Aloha folks, we are back with another edition of Transformers. This time we look at Kingdom Huffer K16. Without delay, let's get started.

Boxing

I actually dig the artwork for Huffer. I got another Optimus Prime card. The weapons are actually stored in the back of cardbox.

Nonnef upgrades for Earthrise Sunstreaker, Smokescreen, and 86 Studio Series Grimlock

After a brief hiatus, I am back with some TF photography. This time we look at the upgrades for Earthrise Sunstreaker, Smokescreen and 86 Grimlock. Without anymore delay, let's get started!

Sunstreaker w/ Metallic Silver

Finally, Streaker is armed. The barebones release Hasbro allowed led people to scouring the web for additional weapons. Thankfully, some companies such as Nonnef came through for the fans. In this review pack, Sunstreaker undoubtedly got the best of the upgrades. For the metallic reveal, he was given a rifle, a handcannon, and spoilers. The pics explain everything. Streaker is ready for battle. The only quibbles I have here is that the metallic paint can strip fairly easy. Look at the last pic here in this category. Some of the paint has dribbled into his shoulder stack hole.  Also for this set, his riser, which can house his spoiler was sold on the non-metallic sets. So I had to spend a little more dough for extras.

Protest in London

 https://www.bitchute.com/video/2B0QNxcgmQ4B/

I know it's vulgar but who can blame them?

Oh, the protests happen weekly in London. I know this one is half a year old but this is one of the most intriguing ones that the media won't show you. Like they would, right?

Transformers Generations: War for Cybertron: Kingdom Ultra Magnus WFC-K20 Leader Class review! Comparisons with Siege Ultra Magnus (Team Ultra Magnus)

The governments don't own your freedom nor should they make decisions on healthcare

After a month of hiatus (TF toy review wise), here is Leader class Ultra Magnus! How is the figure? How does he fare with Siege Ultra Magnus? Is he worth getting at all? We'll find out and Let's get started!

Boxing

That is the boxing. I ended up getting Predacon for the trading card. The back supposedly reveals a key destiny for that character (source; TFwiki). The plastic ties are held in now by these circles. I thought it was weird and I ended up just cutting the ties rather than go through the circles.

Note: The area I worked in now has these super yellow tinted lights. I did my best to color correct the images. It turned out that the lights had no covering now and the light bulbs were just completely exposed. Some images will come out either fairly bright or with a high yellow tint.

Standing tall

Looking good. We have a G1 looking Ultra Magnus. Handles about the same as Siege Magnus and Siege Magnus was amazing. Joints are tight as usual. He lacks the battle damage his Siege brother had. I really dig how this version of the missiles look. It actually stays in better than the Siege version.

Alt mode

If you are familiar with the Siege version, it roughly transforms for the same. More on this in the comparisons.

Armor off and alt mode

Similar to Siege as well. More on this below

Vs Siege

Kingdom Ultra Magnus

You can pretty much spot the differences sans battle damage. Different face and head sculpt. Different shoulder stacks with different bicep missiles. The most apparent of course is his chest cavity. Kingdom Magnus also have different paint apps in certain areas such as his knee (that silver part above his red shins). It's painted entirely silver whereas the Siege version has some red in the middle for both knees. There are also some white paint at the corner of both of his legs in the front while the Siege is entirely blue. Speaking of blues, the Kingdom version looks lighter than the Siege version. Belt area is different as well. The guns are the same though Kingdom is darker. The Siege version, however, benefits a little over Kingdom by having two extra magnetic launchers. Kingdom Magnus can utilize Siege's guns and vice versa. No biggie.

Individual shots of some differences: Siege has markings on the upper chest while Kingdom is bare. Siege also has yellow headlamps. Autobot insignia is larger on the Kingdom one.

Kingdom Ultra Magnus
Parry!

Despite Kingdom being more G1 accurate, I actually like Siege's armor-less Magnus better. I actually like that crystal transparent-like chest he has. The Siege bumper does look a little weird imo in comparison to the normal looking bumper on the Kingdom cab.

Kingdom Ultra Magnus

You can see the differences. I won't point out of all of it. Pretty much the same transformation process as the Siege version. However, you can see as most fans pointed out that the Kingdom version trailer "sticks out." The trailer cage clip holder placements have been modified in the Kingdom version so now Kingdom Magnus alt mode looks more extended but reveals the hands which most of the TF fandom seems to despise.

Switching trailers: Siege on Kingdom

Kingdom on Siege cab

The clip holders are different for both versions (look at the first pic for this category circles in yellow). So if you want to make both versions work, you need to toggle with this part and how you want to make it look: Siege or Kingdom look. However thanks to the modifications, both versions will be wobbly and will easily fall apart.

The arm fix

Saw this on youtube. Covers the arm part if you dislike the way it shows. You can also put on his missiles for the heck of it.

Swapping armors

They can swap armors and it will fit for the most part except the front chest area from which it will not clip on due to the pegs in different areas. However, you can just simply fold the flap over. I marked the areas green on the next two pics for your reference.

Mix and match

As you can see, I mixed and matched both of their armor parts. Have fun.

Yes, I didn't forget that Kingdom can also use his missiles as forearm missiles and as a vehicle carrier. Also, this is the preferred look I believe most fans love, the missiles being more upfront in alt mode.

Verdict:

A must buy only if you don't have the Siege version. It's kinda hard to justify another $50 (though I did it) if you have the Siege version. I'm not a big alt mode fan so I could care less. However, I do understand how the TF fandom was disappointed in how the Kingdom version looked.
It's already discouraging that the Kingdom version comes with lesser weapons as well despite having better looking missiles. The only thing Kingdom truly has over the Siege version is the G1 look (robot mode) and paint job. Once the armor comes off, it kinda goes downhill from here. They both play great in general and it's a tie if you ask me. Kingdom for Robot mode and everything else: Siege. Since I said I didn't like alt mode much, I'm pretty sure Kingdom Magnus will be my go to Magnus for a TF movie and season 3 group pic. This was tough for me. The figure didn't have enough changes for me to leave a huge impression. For the most part, you are playing the same figure with some aesthetic changes. Anyhow, have a nice day.
