Aloha folks, we are back with another edition of Transformers. This time we look at Kingdom Huffer K16. Without delay, let's get started.
Boxing
I actually dig the artwork for Huffer. I got another Optimus Prime card. The weapons are actually stored in the back of cardbox.
Standing tall out of the box
This guy looks amazing I'll admit. I was on the fence at first about picking him up especially with the whole "scale" size thing that has plagued the War for Cybertron series. He comes with a claw-like shield and a rifle. The problem presented here from the latter is that his gun doesn't peg into his fists snug. As a matter of fact, it is loose. It pegs into his other 5 mm just fine. Minor complaint here but it is very noticeable.
Standing tall correctly
Alt mode
I wasn't a big fan of this mode. I felt it looked crooked at some parts. What makes this mode interesting, and I didn't know at first, was that you could split his gun apart to form the rails on his sides. But by doing so, he loses his gun mount on the top of his roof. The shield serves as a platform for the tail of his car.
Who you like better? For years, IGear Rager was my Huffer. He is too tiny now in comparison to all that scaling. Kingdom Huff does look more defined and is more fun to play with.

Conclusion:
I like Huffer's robot mode. However, there is just something about him that feels as if he is Huffer on Roids. As you can see the above pic, he is even taller than Igear Hench (not Brawn). And I thought Brawn was a little too tall. Not a big fan of his alt mode though people seem to have fun connecting Optimus Prime's trailer to him (happened in the show). You are pretty much, as always, buying him for his robot mode which plays really nice. If you don't own a Huffer, this Kingdom version does the job well. Can't complain much as well since retails for $20. Have a nice day.
