Transformers War for Cybertron Siege WFC-S13 Ultra Magnus quick review

Hola! I am back with another Transformers: War for Cybertron Siege review. Today is none other than City Commander Ultra Magnus. Without further delay, let's get started!

Boxing

Wow. Impressive so far. UM is probably by far the most battle damaged figure I played with so far. You can pretty much see his battle damage all over, mainly his chest cavity. He comes with loads of weapons and you can set it throughout his body. His shoulder missiles are removable as well. He has a pretty good waist swivel as well making him a bit more versatile when it comes to posing.

Here comes Fansproject City Commander!

For the longest time, FP CC was my placeholder for UM. I guess now he can retire and Siege UM will become the definite version of CC. I admit I had fun again playing with FP CC while doing this shoot. For the most part they can utilize each other's weapons sans that big hammer/shooter FP CC has.

Armor off

Siege UM almost feels like a POTP figure. Taking the armor off reveals the white version of Optimus Prime similar to how Orion Pax is of Optimus. Ironically, Siege UM is the same size as the voyagers Henkei Optimus Prime and Universe Ultra Magnus; possibly the only drawback of the Siege figures is the downscale in size. Siege UM handles and plays very nicely however. His battle damage is in his thighs.

Alt mode

Change it up

What can I say? The robot mode was easy to transform into his truck mode. The trailer part , which are comprised of the armor pieces was a little tougher and I required the manual to get that part done. Would had been nice if it was a little bigger so I could fit more cars. You could possibly fit more legends size vehicles but I didn't attempt it during this photoshoot. It was fun to figure out how to transform FP city CC back into this mode as well.

Conclusion:

Definite worth a pick up. I had hrs of fun playing with this guy. This guy is practically a figure with add-ons. I'm glad I waited to pick this guy up. If you need a Magnus, don't hesitate in picking this guy up. You won't be disappointed.
