And God Blessed them, saying be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the Earth. Genesis 1:22

Aloha folks, I am back with another TF review. And this time it is none other than Legacy Evolution Beachcomber. How does he fare? Well, let's get started.

Boxing

Here is your boxing. Was never really a big fan of the Legacy Evolution boxes. They felt really cheaply made and it feels loose as well.

Standing tall with POTP Beachcomber

Initially I wasn't going to get Legacy BC. After seeing my TF bud: Darkonen get it, I contemplated for a bit and gave in. So you can see through the comparisons the Legacy version is better in almost every way. For a time, I gave it to POTP for being nearly the closest thing to the show. Legacy is more darker blue, which is correct imo, comes with a blaster ( the POTP is holding on to Igear's gun that was made for Generations Kup), is taller, and has better maneuverability. The POTP version is actually lacking a waist swivel. Surprisingly, the Legacy version has fist swivel as well.

Oh I guess I can't forget this but Legacy comes with a Parakeet labeled Paradise Parakeet. This is the homage to the Parakeet that lands on BC's shoulders as BC tries to decipher what the bird is chirping about in the episode "The Golden Lagoon." Nice to have but extremely small. So be careful when handling the bird. He doesn't stick on too well and he can easily be lost due to it's microscopic-ness. The pegs on his shoulders were designed for the bird to sit on. The 5mm ports works wonders as well. In addition, POTP can actually grapple the birdie. Legacy BC plays fine overall. POTP is no slouch. He is still pretty good for what he is or at least for the time. I do like the fact that the Autobot insignia is on Legacy's chest now for show accuracy.

Legacy's gun actually has two handles. One as if you handling the rifle the way you normally would, and the other way is on the side panel of the gun. In this case, you can double handle the shot. POTP BC can actually accomplish this feat as well ( not shot here).

Alt mode

Fairly easy transformation for both modes. It's been a while since I've tampered with POTP BC. Super easy transformation on that guy. And fairly easy on Legacy's as well. Legacy's version plays pretty great. Doesn't have the mushroom peg for its wheels. There is a slot you can slide in for the gun as you can see on the pics. This can fit on POTP BC though its pretty loose. The Parakeet was designed to sit in the back of the vehicle but you can put it on the sides where side panel of the gun can fit, but I forgot to shoot that shot. Surprisingly, POTP BC has a slot where the Parakeet can fit in the back as well. I do like the fact that Legacy's legs/heels become the seats of the cars in alt mode.

Obliterate my Lagoon will ya?

Conclusion

If you don't have a BC, Legacy is the one to get. He plays fines and he comes with a gun and a Parakeet. Isn't that enough for you? Just make sure you don't lose the bird because, like I said, it's really tiny. Nice to complete for G1 autobots. We'll see you next time. And please pray for me, I struggle in my walk with Jesus but I encourage you to seek him today because he had done lots for me and his love never fails me. Take care and Jesus loves you.
