Thank God for a good trip in Japan: March 21-23; Daimon St, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Odaiba.

Another international travel and I thank God for a nice experience and safe trip back. Thank you for my sister when it came to navigation and my mom as well for making it a nice family trip. I will be cramming a few days within a post due to a very long stay in Japan, Hong Kong and Macau. So these posts will be pic heavy. Without due, let's get started.

March 21

We flew out. Landed in the Land of Rising Sun next day due to time zone differences.

March 22 Daimon St.

Stayed at the Shiba Park Hotel. Had to catch a bus to get here and there was some heavy traffic. We were a little jet lagged and my mom wasn't feeling well so only me and my sis stepped out for a bit as we bought food back for my mom. As for Tokyo Tower, this were the only shots I got of it.

Tokyo Tower and a shot of Daimon area.

March 23 Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Odaiba

Shibuya crossing and Hachiko

Got to meet the famous Hachiko finally! The Shibuya crossing can get very crazy. Actually, the same goes for almost anywhere in Japan, so don't say I didn't warn you if you ever go there.

Ichiran-

Good noodles! The best ramen I've eaten so far!

Tower Records!

Shibuya crossing from TR.
Hachiko in TR!

Nice to see TR doing well in the east. Sadly, I just found out the founder died last year. There are posters commemorating him throughout the several floors.

Don Quijote

DQ was one of the final stops here in Shibuya since we were pressed for time to go to Harajuku to see Shibas. As you can see Hachiko rules Shibuya.

Hachiko again!?!

 Harajuku

This place is busily popular as well. Going both ways - always a busy street .

Tokyu Plaza, Kiddy land and some random food.

Yep, I had to check out TF's. Sad to say that the Legends line is past done with the exception of LG Trypticon. The Siege line has taken over and very takai (expensive). The re-issued Devastator is around. You can only find the Legends line in mom and pop shops but prepare to pay an arm and leg for them; then again I did find some cheap deals later on but that is if you are willing to search long and hard for them.

We were also exploring here because our date with the Shiba's was 3:30 PM. We were here nearly 3 hrs early so we had to kill time somehow. So the random food here kept us going for a bit.

Mame Shiba Cafe and some more random food.

First disappointment of the trip. The Shibas barely interacted with my group of people. There was maybe about 10 of us I say. The previous group had it good where the Shibas were sleeping on their laps and playing with them. The Shibas in this round avoided most of us for the 30 mins we were allowed to play and spend time with them. It's a gamble on whether you get it good or not. Good luck anyhow for anyone that is going for the Shiba cafe here. My sis then made us try extra food. Getting fat now!

Shinjuku- Gyukatsu Motomura

We only came here for dinner. Beef Cutlet! Very crispy skin and tender meat. If it is too raw then you can cook the meat with an iron skillet placed in front of you to your delight. Great food overall! The location is actually the square sign on the bottom left hand corner of the big circular sign in the 2nd pic of this category.

Odaiba

So we decided to go one last area before nighty night: The famous Unicorn Gundam statue of Odaiba. Me and the folks even managed to catch a quick show which involves the statue just moving some of its parts, ie faceplate, antenna, knee flaps and all; music also plays at the same time. There is also a promotional statue for Bumblebee the movie. Japan got their release roughly around this time for unknown reasons. As soon as the show ended, we had to eat cremia- very soft and tasty ice cream. We then went around the mall area and took pics of the area. They also had a fake Statue of Liberty as well. Heh.

That is all folks. See you in the next phase. Thank you for stopping by.
