Leaving Tokyo :( loved it here. Left our hotel (pic here) and went to Tokyo station for our train to Osaka which was departing roughly about 12:00PM.
March 26
Tokyo Station
 |
| Lots of people around this figure; no idea really. |
 |
| Steak and Hamburger steak Japanese style. |
 |
Mt Fuji from the Shinkansen.
|
Osaka
 |
| Shibas! Didn't go this time |
 |
| Where we ate: Good Wagyu and Yakiniku |
 |
| Where we went for dim sum aftersnack |
We were pretty much beat after a 4hr train ride. We walked around the Osaka Dotonbori and just shopped and ate. Day over.
March 27: Hiroshima
Torri Gate:
 |
| Deer beer |

 |
| Darn. Those Shibas are everywhere |
Lots of Deers here. Got to see the floating Torri gate, well, its above water. In the summer I think you can walk to the gate due to low tide. I actually tried the Deer poop, its chocolate chunks on your ice cream. Drank Deer beer as well. It was ok, just for the experience.
A-bomb Dome
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

The monuments are beautiful but yet depressing at the same time. It's really nice to commemorate the victims of the atomic bomb. The Museum is free to go in so check it out if you have sometime. The area is also full of memorials so hopefully you have the time to scope out of all of them. We were pressed for time so we didn't see everything.
Hiroshima Castle
You have to pay to get in the castle but we just wanted some pics so we got what we came here for. This was also the first place we got Yakitori. I swear Tokyo wasn't big on Yakitori. I had to get it. I was craving the chicken stick.
Back at the Hiroshima station, lots of Okonomiyaki places to eat. We had to pick one since we had a train to catch. Good food. Hiroshima Okonomiyaki specialty is with noodles.
Back home to Osaka
Had to eat some more as we returned to our Osaka hotel. 551 Horai, my mom's favorite. Had to try the Fried chicken here as well. We bought some custard back from Hiroshima. All was good. Good night.
