Fushimi Inari Shrine

Here's the popular Kyoto shrine literally right outside a subway stop. It's nice but these places aren't really my cup of tea but spending time with the fam. Oh, there is tofu ice cream as well where you can hang it upside down for a bit.

The Jishu shrine is here too for those who are inquiring. Pretty much this was temple day. Old school SB around here as well.
Nishiki Market

We ended up walking from KD to Nishiki market which took some time. Anyhow, we stopped by for food and just looked around.
Kyoto Gion
Place to stop by to see some blossoms bloomed.
Osaka

Found a random Tempura place to eat. Was good. Day over.

Arashiyama Bamboo forest and Tenryu-Ji Temple

The famous Bamboo forest of Kyoto! Worth a look see. The Tenryu-Ji temple is a pay area but the flowers are nicer looking around here so it's worth the entrance fee.
Going to the Monkey park

There is a town from the bamboo forest to the monkey park where you can get your grub on. We had to eat since that is part of the trip itinerary.
Monkey Park

What a treat! You pay to get here and not only that but you need to hike about 15-20 mins to get here and of course, vice versa back down. So more walking and a reason to eat more! The monkeys are cool and you get to pay 100 yen to feed them a bag of fruits. Trust me, they can eat. Must see and do if you are in Kyoto.
Back to Kyoto Gion

Me and the fam came back here because we heard there was going to be a light show for the blossoms. The blossoms sprouted more this time so I can only imagine how beautiful it be over here if I could come back the following week. This is also Geisha town so lots of girls dressed up in Kimonos.
Osaka

The Glico man sign had animated properties so I had to re-take a pic. Ate a sushi and we bought more midnight snacks again. Day over. Long day of walking again.
