So I decided to post the two last days here in my Northwest trip; both Sept 5 and 6. More emphasis on the 5th of course since my last day was only half a day.
So this time we weren't in that much of a hurry to get back to Seattle. Because due to morning traffic, we held off driving to Seattle until 9:00AM from Portland, Oregon. Darn, Portland had very good weather at this time. Hallelujah!
First off, Breakfast at Panera bread! The pics shall fill you in.

| Forgot what this was but the apple one was mines. |

So we headed to our road trip back to Seattle. 3 hour drive here we come.... ugh! My sister wanted seafood, so we stop by Alki point when we arrived in Seattle roughly a little after 12PM. You get a nice view of the harbor and the city of Seattle from a distance.

We decided to take a walk around the area and there is a park nearby where you can stop off and take pics of the city from afar. The Sea Lions from what I hear are actually from all over especially from Pier 39 San Francisco. So they followed me to Seattle. I'm impressed.

| Um... Help?!? |
 |
| We are almost there boys, keep rowing! |
 |
| My Mom. |
 |
| Pretty ain't she? |
 |
| Yeah, I'm out of shape. Me Terence hate push-ups! |
 |
| My Sister. |

Afterwards, I brought my mom and sis to
Ballard locks. Home of the Salmon and where boats cross bridges.
 |
| Catch of the day! |
 |
| Read up. |
Next up,
University of Washington aka UDUB. My sister wanted to come here to see the Library where they filmed the Harry Potter scenes. Sadly, it was closed due to some special meeting. My sister was yet disappointed again because she missed out of Sauvie farms in Oregon and now this. Yeah, I feel her pain. Just got some pics of the fountain. Mount Rainier in the background for your viewing pleasure.

Molly Munes! This place is about a mile away from Udub! Screaming for Ice cream? Look no further.
 |
| Forgot what flavor this was but it was delicious! |

| Ditto. |
It was around 4PM that day and it was time to check in our hotel at Lynnwood. Probably the best hotel I stayed at the whole time. It had a free breakfast in the mornings and free snacks around 5PM. By the time we arrived, it was 5PM, so it was snack time! Not to mention, even for snacks they had varieties of snacks. I forgot what I took but it was a lot. Well worth it for $120 a night if you ask me.

So we stuck around for quite a bit, drove around a lot. Alderwood Mall was very near to this location, but my folks weren't interested in shopping. I stopped by the nearest Toys R Us to check for some TF figures but nada for me. As you can tell, we grind! Dinner one final night in the Northwest!

I forgot but if my memory serves me correctly, if you come a certain time, the buffet is somewhere $17-19 per person. I think we made it in the nick of time, but don't quote me on this. Good food. Stuff you can find in Honolulu easily, but at least I know where to look if I was in Washington state again. My family and I rested but I had to go to my friend's house who lives in Shoreline, Washington. So I went around 10PM that night. We decided to get a drink in
Dick's drive-in. I heard of the place due to a friend who told me back in Honolulu.
 |
| Big turn out that night! |
I don't recall what shake I bought but my friend and his son had Ice cream if my memory served me correctly. Cool thing was that when we got back to his house, he and his son watched Justice League Unlimited together; a father-son bonding I might add. Maybe this might change my mind on staying single for life. Around 12:30AM, I called it a night and me and my friend wished each other good luck. It was fun driving in the Washington state I-5 freeway late at night/early in the morning. Still, quite a bit of cars if I have to say. At this time, I was driving with one eye open. Still nice drive though.
Sept 6th, 2014
So our final day in Seattle wasn't much of a show-stopper. My mom insisted in seeing the original Costco which resides in Kirkland. Now at least you know why a lot of Costco products have the name Kirkland in it.

It was around 10:30AM that time and we drove to Bellevue to get Dim Sum, another of my mother's idea.
Roughly around 1:00PM, we drove back to Seattle city to do the Bill Speidels Underground Tour---something that my mother wanted to do! It's mothers day for mom I tell you. Remember this date Sept 6, 2014 as my mom's mother's day. J/k.
I've been through the tour once and it was great to go through it again.
My mom though had trouble understanding the tour most of the time due
to her limited understanding of English. No biggie, me and sister were translators. We were now ready to go home but we had to stop by international district to have some bubble tea or smoothie or whatever you call it.

| Yes, read this sideways. |
 |
| Ditto for this one. |
So that marks the end of the trip. We didn't take any photos afterwards, but it was great to go on a trip with my folks. I originally wasn't going to go since I didn't have much money, but my mom and sis paid most of the fares providing that I play tour guide. I accepted of course and I mainly paid for the hotels and that was it. If I ever come back here, its probably for a job. Thank you for reading folks. For anyone interested, I hope I gave you a few pointers on where you should go if you ever venture into Portland or Seattle for vacation. I recommend going around August till mid-Sept when the sun is up. Take care and let God guide you for the rest of your journeys. Amen.
