No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Aloha folks, I am back with another TF review, Retro Outback Walmart exclusive! How does he fare? Let's get started!

Nice retro G1 card. I usually keep these after I toss the bubble away. Maybe most toys should come in this packaging. It comes with a folded instruction manual ( not pictured here).

Outback is pretty much a slight retool of Brawn. What is missing, or should I say hidden, is the grill hood that Brawn has on default. It is here but you have to swivel it out the back of his head. He plays similar to Brawn. Has a bigger gun then Brawn. Because his head is more exposed, you can swivel his head a lot easier than Brawn's. He has a waist like swivel like Brawn and the same foldable heels and feet like Brawn. Brawn, Brawn! He plays fine. He is your more up to date Outback for this modern G1 take. No real qualms here on the replayability factor.

With Brawn, Blaster and Potp Outback (also Alt mode)

Here are your comparisons. Like I said earlier, Brawn defaults having the grill hood on the top of his head. Here he is with Blaster whom he partnered with in Five Faces of Darkness.

The Brawn Effect

So here is where I said you can swivel out the grill hood on the top of his head if that is your forte. On the back is no difference but just a reference none the less.

POTP Outback

They both can switch their weapons out with each other. POTP is the more easy figure to play and transform while Retro OB is the accurate looking one to the toons. I do like the Dune buggy look for POTP though. POTP is smaller too which can be a bummer.

Conclusion

If you need a more accurate look on OB, then the Walmart exclusive is the way to go. If you like Brawn, then you would like OB as well. The only real negative thing about OB is the pricing. I nearly had to shell out $40 shipped for this guy. It also depends on how bad you want this guy as well. Maybe, Wal-mart will have this guy on clearance down the line like how Seaspray was. Anyhow, Jesus loves you. Thank you for reading and visiting. See you next time.
