Transformers Age of The Primes Autobot Powerglide Review

Aloha folks, here is Powerglide whom showed up the same time as Swerve. How is the Autobot air warrior? Let's get started and away we go!

Boxing

 

I'll admit that the AOTP boxes really are nice and so is the artwork.

And here we are! Very simple figure to mess with. Though my right shoulder flap falls off fairly easy when I mess with the right arm. His joints on his arms and legs are very tight so that may be good or bad depending to your taste. He comes with a silver gun and the Alien mask that was presented in "Hoist goes Hollywood." Easy to play with once again.

Here's the heart gimmick you can do by opening his chest panel. From the episode "The Girl who loved Powerglide."

And here is the Alien mask gimmick they give you. It is only doable if you flip PG's face. In order to do so, either look in your instruction book, or pull the needle looking tab on the top of his head. Then you can turn his face and two indents will be presented. The rest is self explanatory. Have fun. 

Alt mode

Because of his tight joints I mentioned, it might be some work to get this mode to work. It's easy transformation, just the tight joints give you that struggle type of feel to get here. Besides that, enjoy.

Conclusion

Powerglide I feel is a nice representation for your G1 minibots line. He plays fine overall and just the alt mode can be a struggle to get to because of the tight joints. I love the gimmicks Hasbro gave you. Definitely made for the fans. Anyhow, Jesus loves you. See you next time.
