I parked by the entrance which is on the Old Pali Road. Upon entering, the first waterfall is already within view to the left as you go down your first and small hill. I also tried practicing some photography messing with the aperture and shutter speed. I think I could do better but got the smooth and blurry like waterfall after all.
As you can see, my dog really like this hike. She was all smiles. Remember to bring a bag to scoop your dog's poop, just in case. We reached Jackass Ginger pond about 10 mins into the hike. There were lots of kids and chaperones swimming as we went close to the falls but didn't take any pictures since it would look awkward storing photo's with strangers on my computer. Google Jackass Ginger pond for pics. Maybe I will come back here some day when school is in session.
Since it was a loop, we took the left way back. I'm not sure if this is accurate, but I felt that the left branch is more longer. I ended up using Google maps to pinpoint my location. You will come across a section where it leads to the Nuuanu Trail, a trail that leads toward Manoa side. We opted not to go that route since that wasn't part of the plan. We kinda got lost until we took this path that eventually led to the right path of the Judd Trail. There is pink ribbons to guide you, but next time I'll try take the left path first to remove any doubts and confusion.

So that was it. We crossed the river again which my dog attempted to go back to dry land. Haha, funny. I carried her over again and took some more pics on the first waterfall. After that, I had to run some errands so that was the quick hike of the day. Thank God my car wasn't broken into and it was in one piece as I came out. It was a short hike for the most part except for getting lost somewhere in the left side. Till next time folks. Thank God for a good day, indeed!
