However, what you see above is the factory setting or G1 setup: Silverbolt (torso), Fireflight (right arm), Slingshot (left arm), Skydive (right leg), and Air-Raid (left leg). Hasbro/Takara Tomy decided to make things more interesting by allowing you to alternate every limb the way you wanted. Just let the pics do the talking once again.
Despite this neat feature, I still prefer the G1 original setup. But that is up to the toy owner to customize the limbs in any way they want. You can also change out his hands and feet. One is designed to look more like duo cannons which usually forms the hands and one is more rocket booster like which forms the feets. Once again, the user decides what should be what. User mileage may vary.

Overall:
Superion is really looking good. I really like his look and he plays out great. He is, however, not without issues. Superion and his individual components are well designed and tightly jointed, but his feet/hands need better articulation and more versatility. What I am saying is that his hands/feet don't open much nor can he stand properly sometimes because of his weight, the thumb/heel part barely keeps him standing. So try and do a nice high kick pose with him, its tough, because its only a thumb/heel that is keeping him from falling; He falls literally trying to perform this feat. It's no surprise why third parties are making better feet/hands. Still, I like how he was designed overall.
Got him for about $125 shipped. Not bad i guess though if you don't care about the G1 aesthetic, then $125 is a tad too much for western TF fans. The Combiner Wars Superion is nice and a cheaper alternative for those who want this guy. Me, I just wanted close to G1 as possible. Well, mahalos folks and take care. If you ask me, this guy is a definite must buy. Till next time.
