Thank God for Hawaii! Koko Head Hike!

What a beautiful day to hike in gorgeous Hawaii. Got up 5:30AM in the morning for this workout! Though its not a real hike and more cardio, nevertheless, I took on the challenge again. Boy, though I am in shape, my thighs were getting stiff half way through. I thought of quitting. But I remembered the Lord and asked him for strength. I asked and he gave me the strength and determination to reach the top!

Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Sunny day! Thank you Jesus!

My brother

Yeah, I blinked. Guest starring: A couple.

Reaching the top is beautiful indeed. Koko Marina, Hanauma Bay, and other beautiful looking mountains are within your grasp.

Genesis 1:10 (KJV)

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

What goes up must come down. Ready to go!

It was a nice hike, Lord Jesus. Thank you for allowing me to make it even when I was ready to give up. I was in shape and I still struggled so Jesus was the missing part to the equation. Hallelujah!

Of course when we reached the bottom, someone was happy to see us!

And I haven't forgotten that today is the 73rd anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. To the people that died that day, God rest your souls and to those still kicking it, thank you for being an inspiration to us all. If any of you meet Pearl Harbor survivors, talk to them because they really like to talk. I'd met one in a way though he served mainly World War II and they are very delighted to share their stories with anyone.

Anyways, thank God for a beautiful day in Hawaii.
