Alert! Alert! Red Alert, that is! Yes, I'm pushing myself more to finish more reviews. Sadly, I have so much that I am super backed up on figures. Well, this is a start so without further ado, here is WFC Red Alert.
Boxing
Yes, he is an autobot. I finally decided to not shoot the other side of the box where you can see the same autobots over: Chromia, Sideswipe, the shuttle, and blah blah blah.

Standing tall
Red Alert can use his lightbar and plug it with his gun to make a cool looking axe. I really had fun using it. Figure stands great and handles well. He looks like his G1 cartoon creation which is also a goodie. The only negative thing in this category is that he is missing his shoulder canon. He'll probably get it by a third party but it sucks that you have to fork over extra dough to do so.
Alt mode
Very easy to transform into this mode and back. If you have Siege Sideswipe, then you should have no problems getting to his mode. Looks neat and has a fairly decent Cybertonian feel despite having earth vehicle properties.
W/ Siege Sideswipe
Speaking of Siege Sideswipe, if you haven't figured it out, RA is a remold of Sideswipe. Besides color differences, RA's ears are trimmed to match the cartoon look. Both can use each other's weapons though I focused more on RA. As a result, you can elongate RA's weapons with Sideswipes. Both have the battle damage in their shin areas. Very neat feature I might add. Once again use your imagination.
W/ Generations Red Alert
Conclusion:
I love this guy. He is fun to play with especially with the cool looking axe. Get him to complete your WFC line. They did a good job with his weapon. If you could only choose between Sideswipe or Red Alert, I pick the latter. Though the former is more famous than the latter. However, if the Sideswipe mold didn't impress you then you probably won't get much bang for your buck here either. I really dig the weapon though. Toodles.
