Transformers War for Cybertron Siege S36 Refraktor aka Reflector review

Aloha, we are coming in a rapid paces of reviews. Today's review is Refraktor (aka Reflector). Without haste, let's get started.

As you can see I have not one but three Refraktors. If you are the G1 TF purist, then you know why I got three. The hint is even given in the back of their boxes. If not, keep reading and you will see eventually.

So it looks like these guys came off the assembly line. Then again this was their G1 cartoon look. Had you bought the original G1 toy, they had individual names: Viewfinder, Spectro, and Spyglass. They probably went by those names in the cartoon as well but they were never referred to by those names or not that I recalled. Not to mention, they were different colors as well. Speaking of this, Hasbro has decided to release these guys in toy colors in a few months as I write this. It looks great for once; usually I'm not into the toy colors. To make this purchase I did worse, the 3 pack toy color will be released with a flash scope with some parts of the figure looking more like a camera. I might double dip if I feel like it.

As for the figures, they are easy to pose with. Articulation is nice. They look generic but then again these guys were more of the lesser of the Decepticons. Besides they have a shield and a rifle. What more did you want?

Transformers War for Cybertron Siege S35 Red Alert review

Alert! Alert! Red Alert, that is! Yes, I'm pushing myself more to finish more reviews. Sadly, I have so much that I am super backed up on figures. Well, this is a start so without further ado, here is WFC Red Alert.

Boxing

Yes, he is an autobot. I finally decided to not shoot the other side of the box where you can see the same autobots over: Chromia, Sideswipe, the shuttle, and blah blah blah.

No instructions were used in this review.

Red Alert can use his lightbar and plug it with his gun to make a cool looking axe. I really had fun using it. Figure stands great and handles well. He looks like his G1 cartoon creation which is also a goodie. The only negative thing in this category is that he is missing his shoulder canon. He'll probably get it by a third party but it sucks that you have to fork over extra dough to do so.

Team Skyfire (Henkei Skyfire, Generations Jetfire, and WFC Siege Jefire comparison).

Time to take it to the skies, Autobots or should I say team Skyfire. Let's get started!

Just in case you are new to this, the smallest one is the Henkei version, the fighter looking jet is Generations thrilling 30 Jetfire (IDW), and the largest is WFC Siege Jetfire. I don't have much to say here though WFC and Henkei come the closest to looking like each other. Thrilling 30 JF definitely got more of the fighter jet look.

Use your imagination here. For the most part they can swap and use each other's weapons. Thrilling 30 Jetfire (or least mines) had trouble pegging the WFC Jetfire weapon on his left hand. After all this time, I'm still impressed by thrilling 30 Jetfire. He feels more like the combat figure of the 3. I don't have much a preference. If I had to say something, WFC for G1 Skyfire/Jetfire, Thrilling 30 for warrior robot, and Henkei for being the 1st and original of the 3. Overall, they make a deadly sky assault team.
