Not shown here is the manual. Quintus is Novastar's prime master but honestly don't care for this part.
Robot mode w/Moonracer
Novastar is molded off Moonracer. Not much difference except for color and the head. And of course, her gun is different but as a goodie you can merge her blaster with Moonracers rifle. Novastar also suffers the heavy backpack syndrome Moonracer had. With some patience you can land some decent poses.
Alt mode
Same as Moonracer though I didn't take off her prime armor this time around. Peg the weapons in different holes though its difficult to merge Moonracers weapon with NS's weapon on the side due to the wheels getting in the way.
As a combiner w/Elita one, Moonracer, UW Bruticus, Strafe, and Afterburner.
The instruction manuals have NS listed as a limb for Hung-Grr of the Terrorcons fame. Seriously? Elita Infin1te looks great honestly.Update: Funny. I actually found out why her shoulder, her right shoulder especially was very wonky, there is a mini tab and lock behind her back that I overlooked. It stays on a whole lot better; especially the right shoulder.
Conclusion:
Novastar is here to complete the female team. Siege Chromia is coming out soon, but unfortunately Hastak decided to remove the combiner port feature. Funny thing is that Greenlight is coming out soon as well and they left the combiner port feature on her!?! Elita Infin1te still feels incomplete in that case. Would had been perfect for Chromia to fill that last gap. Overall, after my last assessment, Novastar is a good figure but suffers the standing issues that Moonracer had.
The female team, even if Greenlight is launched, is best left as solo warriors until a third party fixes those terrible shoulders of Elita-1.Take it easy folks.
