RattleSnake ridge hike

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spent another day with Gary. Pretty neat hike. We got lost once but finally made it to the top maybe in an hour or so. Nice bird's eye view of the lake. I look fat btw. Anyhow, just be careful because a young teen lost his life here earlier this year. Reports indicated it was a icy terrain at the time, though they say about two hikers die here on avg per year. There is a memorial for the young hiker as you begin the trail.

Gary never did this hike so I decided to bring him here. My legs were getting quite a workout this day. I was also obsessed with taking camera pics with shutter speed so the waterfalls looked like silk though I still need to do better. It doesn't look as smooth as I want it. Nice hike. Next!

What adventure is complete without Chick-Fil-A? Finally got to taste the lunch menu. One word: Awesome! We ate at the Kirkland branch btw.

More food! Yeah, I was that hungry. Actually we walked around a mall in Kirkland shopping at Trader Joes and all. Me and Gary talked story for a bit before finding this Vietnamese foodie spot. There was a XL bowl for twice the price. I didn't go for it but just giving you folks a heads up if you that hungry. Good Pho, lots of meat they gave for I was pretty shocked and impressed. Around the corner, we went for dessert after and Shake it (Kirkland). The bubble tea was alright but the waffle ice cream was excellent! 1 out of 2 ain't bad. That was it for the day. Nighty night.
