Box and contents:
I forgot to take a picture of the comic scans. This is your artwork and box art. Standard Takara Tomy Legends release.
Anyhow, anybody interested in the comic storyline can click here:

Alt mode:
This release of Scourge is a good homage to the G1 series. The United/Generation releases showcased Scourge as a B-52 bomber while this release is an updated G1 look for him. You can stick his headmaster head to give him the gimmick of his head sticking out while flying, something he did a lot in the animated series. Easy to transform from robot mode to this mode as well. A very neat representation of his Alt mode from his G1 days.
Robot mode:
Nice and sleek display of his robot mode. I definitely like this robot mode better than his United/Generations counterpart. For an odd reason, I forgot to take pictures of him storing his weapons on his back. You can either place his weapons directly behind this peg on his back or on his wings. The colors look great here, another good G1 coloring look for him. The only drawback here is that his head can get pretty loose at times and so does his fists. They swivel easily back into his forearm. Not to mention, where is his pink fingernails? This is the 2nd time Takara has forgot to give him his G1 pink fingernails, though his boxart from his United release had an indication he was supposed to have his pink fingernails, but even that release showcased the brownish like color his Generations counterpart had. Maybe next time I guess.
Headmaster Francas????
Well, I don't know what the headmaster's name is in this release. In the Titans Return release (Hasbro version), he is called Francas. Easy to transform I kid you not. I don't have much qualms here.
Guest Stars: Generations Scourge and United Scourge (Unless stated, United Scourge is far left while Generations Scourge is far right).
| United Scourge with Legends Scourge |
| Legends Scourge with Generations Scourge |
We have come a long way since the Generations/United line. For a while, the G/U line was the placeholder for Scourge and his sweeps. Now people can use the Titans Return/Legends line for that feat. I can't disagree more. I definitely think this is the path to go for the time being. Sorry for the yellow lighting that made G/U wings look all yellow.
Galvatron
Bow before Scourge! Haha, he said that in the series. I mean, he did really! Anyhow, I had to put a picture with him and his master. The pics explain everything. The crown was still annoying as heck to take pics with.
Conclusion:
If you need Scourge and his sweeps, you should definitely pick this guy up and start your troop building. Very easy to play and transform with. Until next time folks.
