Toy Review: Takara Tomy Transformers Legends Scourge LG-26

Hiya folks, welcome to another edition of TF reviews by yours truly. Today we have Scourge the tracker and his henchman: Generations and United Scourge. Oh, and how can we forget his leader, Galvatron. Without delay, let's get started!

Box and contents:

I forgot to take a picture of the comic scans. This is your artwork and box art. Standard Takara Tomy Legends release.

Anyhow, anybody interested in the comic storyline can click here:

Alt mode:

This release of Scourge is a good homage to the G1 series. The United/Generation releases showcased Scourge as a B-52 bomber while this release is an updated G1 look for him. You can stick his headmaster head to give him the gimmick of his head sticking out while flying, something he did a lot in the animated series. Easy to transform from robot mode to this mode as well. A very neat representation of his Alt mode from his G1 days.

Toy Review: Transformers: Titans Return Galvatron and Nucleon.

Aloha folks, it has been a while since I popped an update. Today's review is the insane, feared 2nd leader of the Decepticons: Galvatron. Galvatron is apparently a Headmaster now and his partner in crime is Nucleon who is none other than a mini-Megatron in disguise. Without further delay, let's get started!

Boxing and contents:

For anybody that is wondering, you can see Astrotrain, Blaster, and Fort Max on the inner boxing. I didn't bother taking out the card of the packaging but you get your artwork and stats.

Galvatron Robot mode:

Aesthetically, the figure looks amazing. However, what leaves to be desired is a better helmet. Heck, that is not a helmet at all, but a face mask. Sometimes his eyes are obscured due to this awkward fit of a mask. Then the next concern is his shoulder tabs due to the fact it is in the way for most of his poses. You need to flip it up just to pull up his arm cannon. The swivel that allows Galvatron to turn his head is very limited disallowing you the pleasure to make some decent poses with his head. The black tab located on his back also kept popping off. Was very annoyed at this point.
