Thank God for a good day in the Big Apple Oct 20 (Day 3)

Man, I slept like a baby for the night. I woke up early around 6AM for the next adventure though I didn't move out till 8AM.

So the dog was up and early and I had to take a pic of Ollie. Cookie was the other dog though she seldom came in my room. Ollie loved coming in alot so I had to take a pic of him! On to Chinatown!

I got off the subway on Chambers street where I took another pic of the Manhattan Municipal Building where Ghostbusters (1984) was shot.

It was roughly a 13-15 minute walk to Chinatown from this area using google maps. Finally arrived though I was so early that I had to walk around until a couple restaurants opened to satisfy my food cravings. I came roughly about 9AM so Chinatown wasn't littered with people till much later on.

I made my way back somewhere in the beginning of Chinatown to eat at:

Noodles were very tasty. Not bad for $7.00. Lot's of single folks eating here too. I walked around Chinatown some more.

Sometimes buildings in NYC or Brooklyn were showered with graffiti wall designs. You will pretty much encounter a whole bunch of them in NYC.

I then ventured into Baxter street to try out Taiyaki ice cream.

Delicious ice cream! Place however did not open until noon. So don't say I didn't warn you on the time it opens.

Next up: Ghostbusters firehouse station!

Boo! It's under repairs. So this is the best shot I got.

Hook and Ladder 8 address:
14 N Moore St, New York, NY 10013

My feet was a little sore from all the walking then and I didn't fully recover from my jet lag so I stopped by Columbus Park to sit and watch people play football, old chinese men playing their instruments, and a couple practice boxing.

Le Bella Ferrara Bakery

I had to try Cannoli's under the recommendation of a co-worker. It was good. Chinatown was very close to Little Italy and this place kinda served as the bridge in between two areas. There was another graffiti wall across the street.

Katz's Deli

I had to walk another 20-30 mins to find this place. I just strolled past Little Italy and came here to try out some corn beef hash madness! The place was packed and since I kinda ate (a bit), I did take out for my trip to Washington Square Park.

Peter Venkman's house in Ghostbusters II (1989)

Since it was along the way. I decided to stop by here. This place is located in 644 Broadway St. New York, NY 10012.

Washington Square Park

The first pic in this category is the famous Washington Square Park Arch. I also took it because it appeared in Ghostbusters II as well. Lots of students spend time here because the park is close to New York University. Lots of Squirrels too! Haha. Ate my reuben meal here though I was able to only eat half. I saved the rest for dinner later on. I went back home at this point. I took the Subway back to Church Ave around 7PM.

I played with the dogs some more and got to meet Christa, Zach's wife at this point. Day over.

Thank you for reading and tune in soon for day 3. Thank you Jesus and mahalos.
