Vengeance is not mines

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Romans 12:19, KJV) This is something I have to live with everyday. Yes, I had now ex-friends that hurt me by not forgiving me because of past conflicts especially one ex-friend that slandered me and my best friend for no apparent reason. He called forgiveness evil and called us satanists because, well, I dunno. That's how bizarre the situation has become. Most people told me to stop talking to "this man" because they feel he is insane. Had an old friend which is also a ex-friend of "this man" just told me to ignore him. All in all, "this man" has done nothing to rectify the situation. When "this man" is confronted he often tells people that he is just disagreeing with me, but then goes on with his angry rants behind each and everyone of our backs.  Do I forgive this man? Yes, indeed! God commanded u...

Transformers: Maketoys Giant Series 61 aka Devastator Part II of III

Image
Finished the shoot for the robot modes of the "not" constructicons. Transform! The "not" constructicons in deluxe size robot mode. Their robot modes look definitely more detailed and refined to their alt modes. That's not saying much. To me Scrapper looks the oddest of the bunch. I didn't recall him having this large chest piece in the G1 series. It certainly doesn't help him here. Hook's head is green for unknown reasons. Long Haul is wide!!!! He is disproportionate in width in comparison to his buddies. He makes some very interesting poses though. In Robot mode, I felt they captured Mixmaster the best. No real opinion here, I just like the look of his grey hood though it was green in the G1 series, so maybe they got his colors mixed up with Hook's head. Scavenger seems to have more of a mouth rather than mouth plate. The bots can utilize and mix and match a variety of weapons. So that is a plus +1 in my book. Next up, the gestalt Giant! Cli...

Transformers: Maketoys Giant Series 61 aka Devastator Part I of III

Image
Well, Maketoys is producing a 2nd run for Giant aka Devastator, so I decided to open mines up (First run). So far the link below will open up the Constructicons in Vehicle mode. I will do part 2 in their Robot mode, then part 3 featuring Giant aka Devastator and final words. For the vehicles, the plastic feels okay. If you look at the pics, there isn't really anything I feel special about their alt modes. To me it does feel a little cheap. If I had to choose. Long Haul (Wheeloader in this one) looks and plays the best. Though Hooks (Mobile crane -61) crane has a nice feel to it. I can assure you that if you do get this box set, I highly doubt you will keep them in alt mode. My full shoot is in my picassa page link located below the pic.  The vehicles modes, imo, are average at best.                                                   ...

Transformers: Takara's TG-23 Metroplex arrives! (Non-review)

Image
Finally reviewed: Click on the link https://iamterenceho.blogspot.com/2018/05/toy-review-takara-generations-metroplex.html 2 months ago, I ordered Takara's TG-23 Metroplex, approximately 1 month after the U.S. release. I bought it roughly for $150 on www.HobbylinkJapan.com , whereas the US version estimated average cost was about $115. I am aware of the U.S. Costco version running at $80, but Hawaii is not carrying it so that sucks and is another story for now. HobbyLinkJapan allows you to hold the item for 2 months allowing you to stockpile more figures within 2 months to save on shipping. 2 months was up and Metroplex (Metroflex in G1 Japan), was shipped to my house. Here are the pics: So you can see that it is 1/4 the bed size.

Transformers Generations Thrilling 30 Trailcutter and Hoist review

Image
When news hit the Transformer fandom that a deluxe Trailcuttter (aka Trailbreaker) and Hoist was in the works, Tf fans rejoiced all over the world. With the help and addition of 3rd party companies, G1 classic collectors can now add TrailCutter to round up the 1984 ark crew. Hoist was a much needed addition to pair up with Grapple to re-live the master builder legacy during the second season of the G1 series. With that said, let's get on with the positive and the negatives. (Sorry about some of the pics, I shot this in the day light as I still don't really have a light set-up). What I like about them: -Hoist and Trailcutter has nice color schemes. They even got Trailcutters stripes down right. -Joints are very tight and durable. Waist can swivel. -Fairly easy to transform. Did not need instructions at all to figure their transformations. -Each comes with an IDW comic from which their designs were based on. -Trailcutter and Hoist has a lot of ports where yo...

Thank God for a good day in San Francisco Part 3 of 3. 8/12/13 and 8/13/13

My Mom So I started the last adventurous day at the Fisherman's Wharf with the family. We wanted to go to the exploratorium, but they are closed on Monday's. My mom wanted to ride the cable cars, so we waited in line for roughly half an hour. We had some pretty good music from a guitarist who spent his whole life in San Francisco entertaining the masses. Few moments later, a woman bizarrely accused this man of stealing her spot light plus she raised other false accusations on him. The guitarist simply told us all "don't do drugs." Anyways, on with the day. We stopped at Lombard St aka the crooked st for a few pics. We then went back to the Wharf for some grub at Chipotle and some more pics:
