Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Deluxe WFC-K38 Red Alert Review comparisons with Siege Red Alert.

Hi folks, I'm finally back with a new TF review. I got some other TF figures along the way but without further delay, let's get started.

Due to this being a Wal-Green exclusive, no trading card is available.

Out of the box ( with Siege Red Alert)

So like Kingdom Sideswipe, this is your Kingdom-not-so- different version of Siege Red Alert. I saw that this guy was in stock and it seemed like no one was buying him, so I figured why not? Let's compare the two. Like the Sideswipes, if you already own Siege RA, the wow factor here is greatly diminished. Not so much going on except for a new chest piece, a more accurate one to the show. And he has Sideswipe's missile launcher. I mean they just couldn't color it toon colors? The colors here are more bright and not almost yellowed like the Siege version. However, this version isn't quite show accurate. According to TFwiki, Kingdom Alert mixes the show, toy colors, and an iteration of an IDW 2005 version. Your result? A serious mix bag. I just personally feel there is too much red and the grey feels really dull as opposed to the black the Siege version got. His hind legs are colored though I doubt people will be posing him from behind. The lightbars are more lighter in the Kingdom version as well.

Oh, and of course, no battle damage.

Alt mode

So if you know how to transform Siege Alert, then it's the same here. Like robot mode, they both can swap weapons to your liking. As for this mode, the Kingdom version sports a more lambo looking presentation. Colors are more bright and you got his hind legs, which forms his back windows painted. However, as good as they may sound, the Kingdom version looks more bland. The worst part is that he is missing his fire chief decals on the side panels that he had in his toon or g1 look. Let's not already forget the missing spoiler. Typical Hasbro.

Conclusion

Only worth it if you like to collect the lambos in various forms, you are a big Red Alert fan, or if you didn't get the Siege version. Like Kingdom Sideswipe, there wasn't much new here besides some aesthetic differences. Still available in Wal-Greens online as of this date. Enjoy.

The Incredible Hulk 2008

Seriously, what did they do to him after this movie? This was the best incarnation of him of the entire MCU, but this is what happens when you let politics and agendas get in the way. Too bad, so sad.

Ken Stage Easter Eggs + Cameos

I thought this was cool. I knew some of the cameos in this stage but this one totally takes the cake.

Transformers Toys Generations Legacy Series Commander Decepticon Motormaster Combiner Action Figure Review

Aloha folks, I am back with another TF review. Today's topic is none other than Motormaster and his Menasor combined form. How does he fare? Let's get started!

* some of the pics came out soft. For an odd reason, my lens, which was set to auto focus, is really auto focusing on it's own now. So it keeps making that focus noise. In the past, it usually auto focused when I hit the snap button. It never autofocused if I left it alone. Not sure why it's acting like this now. *

The box

Motormaster comes in a big box despite it only needs half the box to house it's content in reality. MM is also the only figure so far in this line that doesn't have a QR code for the user to view his tech specs.

Out of the box and alt mode

This mode is pretty huge. I feel that it is even larger than ER Prime's cab and trailer mode though I didn't compare them both for this review. I like how there is a peg for you to snap on his trailer. Usually, most figures are very loose on this part. The wheels on the left side of the trailer wouldn't stay linear at times. Maybe it's my figure but that's ok.

Motormaster

Our team thus far

Motormaster in his g1 anime form. He is commander class but once again mainly due to the trailer that comes with him. He is fairly easy to transform to robot mode and back to cab. The sword and gun comes in the trailer as I didn't mention that in the box section. Which is also another reason why they didn't really need such a big box to house this guy. He is decent looking. I was never into the visual appearances of the Stunticons so I ain't going to comment much on this section. His joints are tight and he has a swivel. Looking good so far

Base

So this was a fun gimmick. I managed to set this up without using the instructions though I used the back of the box for visual reference. I like how it can fold inward or outward depending on how you treasure its appearance. Fyi, the base uses parts from the trailer.

Menasor (Skeleton)

So this was the part you all been waiting for. Menasor! Or at least what is available of him. What I think of it? First off, this part to me, was a difficult transformation which finally allowed me to let go of my pride and use the instructions. Wouldn't be the first time. But the end result? It was worth it. I couldn't stop staring at this guy. He is amazing. His joints and ratchets are very tight. He even have ratchet like fists (closed off) though I sense a third party limbs in the future. The funny thing is that I already feel like I have Menasor completed at this point. This guy already stands on his own except that his other buddies are needed to fill in the gaps. I know this was how his original design was based on but this mode is doable with or without his team. This mode uses parts from his trailer. So at least we have explanations now on what ever happened to his trailer.

My only real gripe is that his sword pairs fine with Motormaster due to their size complementing one another. No so much here. It really looks small here with this gestalt.

Fidgeting

So I can see that Hastak created this combiner to house the limbs the way it should be. You can try to modify it but the results really vary here. For example, you can see that if you attempt to put Dragstrip on the left arm, you have to split open his spoiler in order to do so. The legs are a different story. I haven't tried the UW placements yet. Maybe I will someday when I complete this Legacy giant.

Conclusion

Definite buy. MM is designed well, looks great, and plays overall fantastically. His combined skeleton mode is truly amazing. Emphasis on the whole it plays great you already sick and tired of hearing me say that all over. I didn't bring this up and I hope to God it doesn't happen, but some users have already complained that their MM is already yellowing or it came yellowed. Thank God mines didn't have this defect and I could understand how that can detract others from getting him. Also, the price can be offsetting at $80 and up. But based on what I have so far, this guy is amazing. If you weren't impressed by Dragstrip, you mainly will be on this guy when you attempt to form Menasor. After all, that was the whole idea of getting a gestalt. Laters.
