Boxing
So Amazon shipped my figure in a clear plastic wrap. The box on one side was still bent but it was probably bent prior to shipping. He looks like a different character on his character artwork depicted on the side of the box possibly due to the lack of his hood and missile launchers extended above his head. I got the Ark trading card here.
Standing tall
Posing
If you are doing standing poses with Tracks, he works out decently. However, this is where everyone is complaining about him and it is his legs. First off, his legs are very loose. Possibly the loosest of all the Kingdom figures I've own so far. The blue flaps on the side of his legs will not stay attached for the most part so sometimes they start flapping out like crazy especially when you do knee posing. Tracks is also double-jointed. His leg bends more than it has to. Very awkward indeed. Not sure what Hastak was aiming for here but something up with his legs.
Team Tracks ( with United Tracks)
Alt mode with United Tracks
Kingdom Tracks was a frustrating and difficult transformation. Instructions were definitely used. It was already bad enough about his legs and yet his transformation wasn't an easy process. Overall, which one is better in this mode? If you are going for the weapons route, it is Kingdom but all in all I still prefer United. The metallic blue is shiny and it brought back old times for me. He looks better as a car in whole. I know the Kingdom version is show accurate but I really dig the United flame decal. Man, that decal is so beautiful to look at this very day. Kingdom Tracks do feel a whole lot lighter but he plays ok in this mode.
Flying
Easy to get to and this is Track's signature flight alt mode. Probably the only flying car on the Autobot team. The Kingdom version does it better here for me. It was here that I remembered you could stick the United missiles under the United version though I found a spot where you can stick it on the Kingdom version. This mode will most likely look good if you have a toy stand.
Conclusion
Not recommended if you are into myriads of leg posing. Not to mention, it already looks jarring if you stare at his feet from certain angles. If you need a G1 (classics) looking Tracks where he is going to stand in the background and do simple poses, then he will do really the job here just fine. I know there are upgrades to help with his situation and maybe down the line I will get them to test them out. I don't think he is a terrible figure overall but comparing to his other Kingdom brothers, his shortcomings make him the least re-playable of them all. But I came in knowing his problems, so my expectations was diminished. Thank you for visiting and have a good day folks.
