Transformers Toys Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Voyager WFC-K44 Autobot Blaster & Eject Action Figure review/Transformers TRA GEN Legacy EV Voyager Blaster

Kingdom Blaster K44
Yo. This is Blaster blastin at ya.

"Look and and shout. Ow!" ~ Blaster, Transformers movie

Aloha folks. I am back after a brief vacation in Kona, Big Island. When Hasbro pulse got Blaster back in stock, I didn't hesitate to pick him up. Is he worth it? Blaster is one of the figures that marks the end of the Kingdom line and somewhat difficult to obtain for a decent price. Does he blast out with a bang? Well, let's get started!

Boxing and contents

Unicron! My goodness. I never thought I would get the chaos bringer for the trading card. This caught me by surprise! Amazing artwork as well. Blaster running into action looks great. I love the running into action poses and Blaster's artwork stands out here. And because this came from Hasbro I believe, the box felt really smooth. Every time I get something from Amazon, it feels coarse and often wrinkled in the edges. No biggie but just something I noticed.

Standing tall w/Eject

My goodness, this guy is dazzling to look at it. The paint job is good and joints are tight. He poses well plus he has a waist swivel. He looks like his G1/cartoon counterpart with the exception of his transparent glass chest piece. Its supposed to be a grey area of lines and a circle. I know they wanted to go with the transparent look so you can see the cassette through the chest piece; also, his toy originally came with the transparent look. No qualms really here but just pointing that out.

His fists come still: The right hand being his button pusher while his left fist is closed. This is a neat feature and it allows you to pretend pushing his buttons to release his cassettes.

However, I might as well get the complaints out of the way. Visually I noticed he has a fairly large gap above where Blaster pushes his buttons. Basically, you see the springs and such between his chest compartment and his buttons. This irked me in the ocular sense. I couldn't look past it despite how good this guy handled and how he looked overall. 2nd, unlike Soundwave which I will get to later, his buttons are uniform and it is pushed inwards rather than a push down to launch his chest piece. Not a big complaint but it is fairly awkward that it is a Pillsbury doughboy poke than a push down once again. I guess this is why his finger is angled horizontally than vertically. But from a reality standpoint, this wouldn't work, but I'm just trying to make too much sense here so I'll stop for now.

Eject looks alright. Just too small imo, but right size enough to fit Blaster. I really prefer the Titans return/Legends aesthetics they did for Rewind. Eject is here to help Blaster feel complete.

Boomboxing

Some of the pics came out soft. For the most part, Blaster is an easy transformation with the exception of his arms. I needed the manual for that part. The problem I found weird here is that he has gaps in his wrists so you figure you would fold the fists in, right? Nope, it doesn't go in at all. Instead, his fists fold outward to the forearms. I mean really? This is a first for me. Otherwise, the boombox is good looking and it looks like Blaster blastin his tunes to ya. It was also here I discovered that his rifle has a small rectangular shaped peg that aligns with a part in the back. Traditionally these babies are placed in 5mm pegs. However, you can opt to do the latter if it makes you feel more comfortable. Eject can hold his weapon but it is too heavy for him.

Versus Netflix Soundwave

As pointed out by hundreds of Tf fans, Blaster is taller than Soundwave. However, to compensate for height, Soundwave overpowers Blaster with an extra cassette and weapons. Soundwave pushes his buttons on his shoulder while Blaster does his by his stomach. At least Soundwave got the push part right. Some pics came out soft again. And yes, they can swap cassettes with each other.

Papakolea beach (Green sand beach)

Kealakekua Bay

Conclusion:

Blaster is a great figure overall. Very easy on the eyes and was molded very well. Despite the complaints that I listed above, he is a figure that is worth getting. I like him very much. I feel he is the cream of the crop for the Kingdom line. Sorry Inferno. For those who are still struggling to get him, he is going to be re-released in the Legacy line but with a mediocre looking box for those collect boxes. The orange coloring in the Kingdom box fit his artwork better. Get him today I say. Take care and God bless.

The Saddest Day In Canadian History

This man is a dictator. I pray that law enforcement will turn their backs on him.

*2/24/22: Video was about the Canadian prime minister initiating the Emergency Act on the truckers of Ottawa. It's done now and the PM has rescinded the act but now we face WWIII. Sigh*

Pray to Jesus, that's all I can say. Pray that his will be done.

Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Deluxe WFC-K32 Autobot Pipes Review

Power by the elites are a pipe dream at best

Hello folks and I am back. Today we have Kingdom WFC-K32 Pipes. How does he fare? Let's find out and let's get started!

Boxing

Pipes has a pretty good box art cover due to the fact I love the running into battle poses. I ended up getting Dinobot for the trading card and his weapons came in the back of the packaging. The latter which I thought came missing at first.

Pipes

Transformers Kingdom Pipes

Pipes is used off the mold of Kingdom Huffer. You can modify the roof (his back) to whatever position you crave. I prefer it tilted diagonal like how the box displays him. But once again to your pleasing. He comes with two pipe weapons which mimics his signature look to the cartoons and toys. You can place it pretty much where you see the 5mm pegs whether its his forearms, knees (side), and shoulder etc... He can also use them as guns though its a bit loose on that part. I do like the bright white and his blues. I don't know much about his character except remembering him in the cartoon where he helped install Metroplex's cog, and recently my TF buddy Darkonen mentioning him being flattened by Overlord. Of course, I had to look this up and man I guess it was time for Pipes to pay the piper. As for versatility, Pipes does an array of poses nicely. He pretty much poses the same as Huffer. All in all, Pipes plays well here.

Alt mode

Same transformation as Huffer. Fairly easy if you already dealt with Huff. Use your imagination here in how you wanna place his pipes. Seriously, the word pipes can almost be used as a joke here. That aside, I felt this mode was ok like Huffers. The problem I felt on both figures is that I feel the front wheels don't exactly touch the ground too well so therefore it doesn't spin competently. But it is what it is. Like I said a while back that I don't find most alt modes appealing. No lost here really.

W/Huffer

Transformers Kingdom Pipes

Pretty much the same mold as I mentioned earlier. Differences besides color were the head, the two metal bars on Huffer's forearm, chest piece, crotch and some mini-dots present on Huff's wheels. Both can exchange each other's weapons. It was here where I looked at Huffer and realized man he looked good here. His colors are outstanding and vibrant. I wasn't too thrilled when I first got him but he is starting to grow on me now. However, I do feel Pipe's weapons are more fun to employ then Huffer's Shield and rifle.

*note* I transformed Pipe's hood wrong though it matches with Huffers.

Ultimate Pipes

G1 Toon accuracy update: 1/31/22

You just need to pluck out the wheels hidden in his back. Just be careful as usual. Credit to the user from FB. Sorry, I forgot to get your name. But credit goes to that person. I claim no credit but to use this for info purposes.

Conclusion

Overall, Pipes is a good figure. No qualms if you already enjoyed Huffer. Pipes fits well to the G1 classics line up. I do like his blues/whites though it is somewhat overshadowed by a more colorful Huffer. Pipes does have the better weapons and it can be toggled and placed in however you choose. That it's for now. See you next time and take care folks. Mahalos.

Boycott these companies.

 https://thecovidworld.com/name-shame-companies-discriminating-against-their-unvaccinated-employees/

The narrative is falling apart and these companies are still trying to cling on to this nonsense. Hopefully, most of the employees will say no and the higher-ups will be forced to rescind this madness. Just say no.

The best Transformers of 2021

Another dreadful year of higher up control. But let's recap this year of my favorite Kingdom, 86 Studio series, and whatever figures I opened up this year. This year was a little different due to the fact Kingdom consisted mainly of Beast wars figures (I'm not into BW), so to make a top 5 out of that category was going to be fairly slim and difficult. Same for the 86 line since I didn't get everyone. I do have a Sharkticon 86 review but he will have to settle for a 2022 post and possibly a re-edit "best of" post if the character warrants such a change.

Transformers Kingdom

Inferno

The mold was made for him. Colors are vibrant. He looks good and plays well overall. An improvement over Grapple.

86 Studio Series

Grimlock

Sweep

Grimlock is a 86 masterpiece done well plus Sweep whose lighter colors doesn't detract any value from the original Scourge figure. In fact, the wings are tightened and not loose as in comparison to Scourge. Despite being a repaint of Scourge, Sweep is still a pretty good figure.

Legends and Netflix

Topspin and Twintwist

Octane

Megatron

Soundwave

I started to open up some of my figures late. Topspin and Twintwist were simply amazing figures. Lots of replay value for Octane thanks to the ghost Starscream gimmick. Megatron with his nicely painted scheme is a robust looking figure (thanks to Darkonen for supplying me this bad boy). Lastly, Soundwave, immaculate as always stands out in this category as the true last years release (my version is the Japanese NF released that year).

Honorable mentions: Improved outlook

Sunstreaker who is arguably the blandest looking character in the ER line from 2020 had the most improved look thanks to the upgrades Nonnef supplied. Not to mention, he also supplied Smokescreen's shoulder canon stacks making the figure more G1 looking accurate.

Thank you folks. 2021 turned out pretty well. Most of the figures were great. Don't get me wrong but these were the ones that stood out to me. Anyhow, thank you once again and I'll see you next time.

Update: 5/5/22

Kingdom Rodimus Prime

Despite the fact I opened him up earlier this year, he was released back in 2021 so I'll give him that much. Although I feel he is overpriced due to his trailer, he is made with high quality plastic. Fun to play with overall.
