Saw this on a nearly packed screen. There was only one showing so maybe that's why everyone was crammed into one screen. Well, the Raimi trilogy concludes. This film is an example on what happens when the studios interfere. If only the studios allowed Raimi to do what he wanted or perhaps release a directors cut in the future, maybe Spider-man 3 wouldn't be chastised the way it was when it was first released.
Lots of people in the auditorium seemed to enjoyed this flick due to nostalgic reasons but also this was where the Bully Maguire theme first emerged. Try guess which scenes were the people laughing at? Anyhow, got a free poster and the movie even got an applause after which shocked me. Anyhow, Spider-Monday continues next week with The Amazing Spider-man.
