Finally, a review done amid this full of crud lockdown. Without haste, let's get started!
Boxing
Well, this is the first time I didn't use the decoder. If you can't make it out, Cliffy's planet reads "Dead Universe." From what I heard, you have to compare the other figure's backgrounds and align the locations together. Good to know, but its a novelty and pass for me.
The figure
Ok. Where do I start? Cliffjumper looks a little bland. He is also missing his autobot insignia in this mode. He has a cannon which can be split into multiple parts and weaponry. Nice and shiny btw. If you haven't noticed by now, the cannon is from his More than meets the eye episode where he attempts a shot at Megatron; he misses of course and his buddy Hound ends up paying the price when Megatron sends Laserbeak after the duo. Another critique from fans is that he is fairly small for a deluxe figure. I concur for the most part. He is just slightly above legends scale but it is what it is. Besides that, he handles and plays very nicely.
More than meets the eye re-enactment I (with Siege Hound)
Alt mode.
He is not the buggy he once was in the G1 series. His alt mode almost resembles that of Windcharger. With that said, there is some neat gimmicks in this mode when you split his cannon up. Look at the pics for your describing pleasure. This mode was fairly easy to transform into from robot mode. This mode is also a little infamous to some fans because his backpack in robot mode has to be removed first in order for you to place it as the back window. It's like an extra accessory when it shouldn't be. His Autobot insignia finally makes it appearance in this alt mode.
Vs Classics Cliffjumper
Here are your comparisons. Classics is definitely bulkier and taller. Classics does have more of the buggy look. ER has more of the Cliffjumper look. I understand Hastak is going more for scale and accurate height representation in these series, but I don't mind Cliffjumper being a tad taller. For once I find it a tie between the two.
