Brooklyn Promenade
Let the pics do the talking. Started out a little late this day but nevertheless this is a good place to stroll by and take some decent pics of the city. Recommended if you are in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Bridge Park
Close to the Promenade was the Brooklyn Bridge park. Very beautiful and you can get closer shots of Lady Liberty and the two bridges: Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge.
Lunch: Drunken Dumpling!

Dumplings the size of your palm! I went to east village to chow down on this. It was good and I got to meet the owner. Super nice guy. Suck on the straw to eat the big dumpling.
Staten Island Ferry
I had to take this ferry twice. Once to go to Staten Island and then back to Manhattan. It was free but this is roughly about one hour of your time gone. Lady Liberty is still far away from where the boat sails. Just make sure you have a decent zoom on your camera, which is what I had.
Battery Park

If you don't wanna take the sail to Staten Island, then you can settle at Battery Park which is nice. Squirrels, tourists, and a choir group singing. Lovely day indeed!
One World Observatory, Twin Towers and 9/11 memorial

The tribute to the twin towers are beautiful. The observatory is about a hundred floors up and the elevator gets from the ground floor to the top within seconds. I came here mainly for the sunset, but lots of people had the same idea so I had to use a selfie stick to pull a decent pic off. Best time to do these "top of the rock" type of scenarios, imo, is around sunset because you get day, transition day-to-eve- and night. But that is just me.
Dinner: Chinatown

| City Hall: another GB scene |

I didn't know what to eat so I went to Chinatown. I wanted some noodles but most noodle places were filled up. I ended up going to Nom Wah which has this 50's like motif. Cash only btw. Around the corner lies 10 Below Ice cream. It was magnificent. Definitely will try this place again if I am around NYC. The cool thing was that it was close to an arcade store. You hardly see that in Hawaii anymore. I stayed out here pretty late and it took me 15 mins to find the nearest train station back to Brooklyn. See you next time for one final day in NYC.
