Thank God for a great day in Las Vegas, Nevada: Sept 19, 2015

*Note: There is nothing like hitting the clubs or hitting it with the chicks, so if you are looking for that, then look elsewhere. My trips are solely tourist like activities or doing hikes and stuff.*

I left Seattle at 6:00AM for Las Vegas. Nearly a two hour flight. My brother, his wife, and my mom rendezvous with me at 8:45AM. They arrived from Lax (Los Angeles) Airport. Without further delay, let's get started:

Mccarran Aiport and Las Vegas Welcome sign

Yeah, the sun was too much for me, so I'll just say it, Terence, open your eyes! We stopped for brunch of course. We went to Hash House A-Go-Go. Huge portions! The pics are enough to make you full.

Yeah, we were making silly pics and faces. We couldn't even finish most of our meals, so we ended up taking leftovers to the hotel. Hotel check-in wasn't until 3PM so there was so much time. We ended up going to the Las Vegas North Premium outlet malls near downtown where I just bought a Orange Julius drink because I was perched in the desert!

Finally, it was check in time at the Cosmopolitan Hotel!  I rented the Balcony view with an overlook on the Bellagio Fountains and strip view. I knew it was expensive and I ask the Lord to forgive me for making such a purchase. But I had to experience what people were talking about in this hotel. It was great! It was only expensive this night because the IHeart music radio festival was in town, so hotels were charging an arm and leg for just normal rooms. I figure why not just pay a little more to see what the balcony fuss was all about. Let the pics do the talking!

I guess it's good to live like a king once in a while. I absolutely loved this room! I paid a tad too much but sometimes you can get this room for $200. If you do find it for that value, it's worth it! I understand some people say all you need is a room and a shower. I agree for the most part, but if you don't mind the extra pay and room space, the balcony fountain view is pretty worth it, if you ask me. Once again, its a good experience.

View from the Cosmos!

 Dinner time at Wicked Spoon!

Good buffet but really pricey. Thank God my brother had military discount which brought the cost down a little. Wicked Spoon is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. After wards, we went to the High Roller located at the Linq!

Nice 30 min ride. Take all the pics of the strip as you wish. Words to the wise: be careful at night because you get the people that are drunk, party goers (loud) or crazy. Day time is just as nice and lesser crazed folks but you don't get the nice light view of the strip. I felt tired for the day so I went back to the Cosmopolitan to rest while my sis-in-law and folks toured a little more before calling it a night.

That was it for the night. Ready for day 2. Before we go, here's a bonus: introducing Shibu in Las Vegas!
