Thank God for a great day in Seattle, Washington Sept 2, 2014.

*Disclaimer* I am only copyrighting my photos because I do not want any mis-representation of me.  If you wish to use my pics, just write to me. Through a past experience, I just don't want anyone using my pics to slander me and my family. Otherwise, enjoy.

Caught a red eye Delta flight from Honolulu to LAX (Los Angeles) and then transferred from LAX to SEATAC around 9:30AM. Arrived in weathers ranging from 60-70 degrees. Not so bad. Got my rental car from Budget. Okay, ready to start the day!

First off, Chinatown aka International District! My sister got a tip in where to eat. Let the pictures do the rest of the talking!

After we ate, we walked around because my sister wanted to go to Uwajimaya which is actually linked to the KinoKuniya Bookstores. Uwajimaya sells some local Hawaiian food such as Laulau, Poi, Portuguese Sausage, and Zippy's chili etc....

Walked around a bit after-wards and took some more pics of International district aka Chinatown:

By the time I was done, I was feeling very groggy because the lack of sleep on the airplane---though I had fun re-watching X-Men: Days of Future Past which was the feature presentation. So I decide to drive the family to our hotel which was on the northern side of Seattle located near Aurora, beginning of Shoreline.  We arrived at Extended Stay America Seattle- Northgate approximately 1:00PM. Caught a quick nap and woke up around 3:00PM.

Me and the family are rested and now time to head back to Seattle City! First stop Pike Place Market!

The first, original Starbucks established 1971.

My sis with Rachel the Pig. Donate money if you like.

Flowers at Pike Place.

Who can forget these guys, huh?

As you are facing the Pike Place Fish market, turn around and go down a flight of stairs and you will see....

The BUBBLEGUM WALL!!!

Inspirational messages can be found if you look... not even hard enough...

Across the street from Pike Place Fish market, you have to try out Pike Place Chowder.

Unfortunately, my sister wanted the Crab Rolls and they were out. :(

Next up,
Ferris Wheel

A squid runs loose in the city.

Return back to Pike Place so I can get a SB gift for my friend's wife. Plus my sister wanted SB and had the munchies at
They sell Macarons.

Time to call it a day and we went to Kona Kitchen at Mapleleaf to try local style Hawaiian food! (yeah, I know, I came all the way to Seattle to eat local Hawaiian food.) The guy who owns the place is the villain from Karate Kid II! Yuji Okumoto!!! I saw him chatting with his employees. I wanted to take a picture with him after my meal. As for the food, it was good. I've had better but it was not bad.

Huli Chicken

Mochiko Chicken

Korean Fried Chicken.

Here's a lesson for you folks, as soon as you see something, get it! Yuji ended up stepping out of his restaurant while I was eating so I was unable to take a pic with him. Here's his IMDB page for those who are curious:

That was it. Went back to the hotel and called it a night. Went to the Dollar Tree store to buy some simple items. They sell even name brand toothpaste for $1. Seriously, screw Wal-mart, Albertsons, Sams club, KMart and all those retailers. Oh well, if they are that cheap, there must be something wrong with it. Part 2 coming soon! Thank God everything went smooth.
