Thank God for a good day in Las Vegas part 2 of 2 August 9, 2013

Nothing beats a good nights sleep and waking up nearly 10 in the morning! Our first instinct was to head over to one of the premium malls and do some shopping!

Settled for a quick brunch at Rocky's Cheesesteaks. I was craving pizza and they had a pizza sub, so why not? The food turned out to be lackluster. It was a good portion for $7, but I had better subs definitely. The girl that took my order was nice and cute, so there was my consolation.

My mom wanted to try Chinese noodles, so what better place then Spring mountain rd area aka Chinatown? Next to Yagyu was Cafe Noodle and Chinese Barbecue. We all shared a fishball/Shrimp won ton soup, salt and pepper Chicken wings, Jellyfish, and Congee. The price was fair, more fair than Hawaii, but I had better Chinese food elsewhere. The one thing I will say is that the mainland USA food is not salty comparing to Hawaii, but sometimes that salt does give that flavor to the dish that makes it worth eating. I think of the bunch, my favorite was the Congee.

Chinatown is food of goodies. This is right between Yagyu and Cafe Noodle. Can't miss it!

Hazelnut Bubble tea and Oreo Shake w/ Tapioca.

Then it was back to the strip to play a couple games of Sic bo dice in the Venetian hotel.

We then decided to go to Aria and Crystals via Bellagio. We stopped by to grab Jean Philippe Patisserie Ice cream at the Bellagio hotel!

Pistachio

We arrived at Crystals and Aria, though we didn't do much. It looks nice on the outside, but it feels very small in comparison to other hotels in the inside. Crystals is a big shopping complex and Aria is very crystal like on the outside. At nightfall, we went back to the Venetian to play more dice games. But first, we grind!

Once again, we shared these two plates. Beef chow fun and Char-siu rice. Overall, I thought the food was good. The negative feedback though is the price. For those who haven't figured it, if you tend to eat inside the casinos, the food can be fairly to overly expensive. The food you see here ranged from $10-15. Not bad in this case.

Turned $20 to $71!

Day results: So once again, no hanky panky on my part. Just another nice and beautiful day in Las Vegas with the family. I did make a little more money than you see here, but not a whole lot more. Wish I had more days, but two nights was enough especially I wasn't doing much this time around. Started to get bored of Las Vegas since I've been here almost every year. Would be cool if I went with some friends or classmates which is what may happen down the line. For now, thank you Vegas and next up: San Francisco!
